Last day of July - I can't believe how fast July went. July was a really warm month - it's been in the mid 90's this week and should be for the rest of the week. Everything is so dry right now.
Anyway - Got up and went to the gym. Started reading another book - not very good but it's something to read. Did an hour of cardio then went to work. Work is good, lots to do so again another fast paced day. At lunch, did a chest workout. Came back to work, but had to leave again for about an hour to go to the doctors. Came back to work and finished my day. Came home, fed the animals and cleaned up a bit. Then took Henry to the vet, dropped off some movies, got the movie 300, then picked up my prescription. Came home, Henry was so much happier not being in the car. I ordered dinner, we were going to Dan and Michael's house (Michael had surgery today on his shoulder) So we were bringing dinner and a movie over. Picked up dinner (We got salads) and headed over to their house. We watched the movie, really good but I ended up falling asleep during the end. After that, came home and I went to bed with Mocha and Riley downstairs. Taking a sleeping aid prescription, hopefully I can get some good sleep.

I ended up finishing the Harry Potter book today and I really, really, really liked it. It's my favorite out of the series. So got up and did my cardio, ended up doing 2 hours of cardio today, 1 in the morning and 1 at lunch because I just wanted to finish the book. My work day was a good one, kept really busy with stuff so it flew by. After work, came home and I made a really good meal. Caribbean jerk chicken, Grilled Corn on the Cob with oregano, Salad with fresh blueberries and cranberries - with a raspberry walnut dressing and fresh biscuits. We ate dinner and then I cleaned up, I decided to bake some cupcakes too - made french vanilla flavored. Those were really good with cream cheese frosting. After cleaning up, got ready for Tuesday. Gym bag packed, clothes for work ready and got the coffee prepped. I watched a little TV before falling asleep.

Got up, made some coffee and then made some breakfast. We didn't have much in the house so I made biscuit breakfast sandwiches. I then went grocery shopping, spent way too much money but we needed the stuff. Got home and unpacked everything then got cleaned up. I read for a while, almost done with the book. We then headed out to get some lunch - did that and chatted with friends. After that, I came home and laid down for a bit and read my book. Kurt stayed out a little longer and got a ride home from a friend Chris. I then got up and cut the front lawn, edged and trimmed and then cleaned up a bit. I have been dragging all day so I got eveything ready for Monday and pretty much went back to bed. Kurt ended up taking the dogs for a walk.

So got no sleep at all, read for about 4 hours and played with the cats. Kurt got up around 8:00 am. We then got cleaned up and waited for Jack and Todd. All of us headed over to my parents house to redo their front yard landscaping. We stopped for Tim Horton's on the way. I've already had about 1 1/2 pots of coffee. We got to my parents and spent the next 9 hours working on the yard. We pulled all of the old bushes/plants out, removing all the stumps and roots. It was tough but we got through it. It was an exausting day - but well worth it in the end. We re-did the landscaping as an Anniversary gift for my parents. We also trimmed the trees and removed all of the knomes/statues. Looks so much better. My parents should be really happy with it. (They are away for the weekend so this will be a surprise). We worked on that till about 5. We then came home, got cleaned up and napped for a bit. We then headed over to Dan/Michael's house. Dan's birthday was being celebrated that evening. Had a really good time, hung out there till about midnight then I was just too tired so I came home and went to bed.

It's Friday. Thank the Lord. I am so glad the weekend is upon us. Got up, little more energy today than yesterday. I'm stil reading the Harry Potter book, so did my hour of cardio and read the entire time. Got to work and the day literally flew by. I looked up at the clock and it was time for lunch. Did my workout, came back and ate lunch and finished my day. I got home and cleaned the house, fed the animals and then took Mocha and Riley for a walk. After that, got cleaned up and made some snacks. We didn't really eat dinner, wasn't that hungry. We met up with Mark and John at Como's. Hung out there for a while, Joel and Jason came up, hung out with Sandy and John, Michelle and ran into a bunch of other people we knew. After that, we kidnapped John and took him out to GC. We ran into Jack & Pete there. Had a great time. We were out pretty late so came home and went to bed. I wasn't feeling very well, got up around 3:30 and stayed up the rest of the night reading.

It's Thursday already. Very happy about that. I'm looking forward to a nice and relaxing weekend. Been just so tired always, don't have any energy - and it seems to be getting worse. So got up and did my cardio, went to work and the day went by pretty quickly - I had some issues to resolve and that took up most of my day. Lunch, did a shoulder workout. After lunch, got back to work and finished up the day. I was so tired at one point that I actually fell asleep at my desk. Hopefully I can get a lot of rest this weekend. Got home and cut the back yard, fed the animals, cleaned up a bit. We went out to dinner and then met up with a few friends afterwards. We went out with Dan and Michael and came home pretty early (They drove). Got home and pretty much fell asleep. Only one more day to go till the weekend.

Half way through the week :) Good morning today. Got up and got to the gym, didn't want to but forced myself. Got to read more Harry Potter, getting really good. After the gym, got to work and had a busy morning. At lunch, went to the gym and did Back, sore - I don't think I'm going to Boot camp tonight. Got back to the office and then worked on some issues, had to run to HQ. After that, went to Costco picked up a prescription and a few other things. Got Kurt "Mame" - with Lucille Ball (He loves that movie), and a fun CD plus a new flower basket for up front. After getting home, cleaned up a bit and then read for a while. Kurt got home and we ended up going out to dinner. Went to Oxford Inn, on the way - found out some really sad news. One of my cousins was killed. She was murdered by her husband - very sad news. I have really fond memories of Ann Marie (Maria Bourn). Wasn't much up for being too peppy after hearing the news but still went out to dinner and we went out to congratulate a friend that took the bar exam. After that came home and and pretty much went to bed.

It's Tuesday, survived the long Monday. Got up and went to the gym, started reading Harry Potter, very good book so far - hopefully should finish it by the weekend. Went to work and it was a very good day - got a lot accomplished. Gym at lunch time, did ABs, that was fun. Got to leave work a little early, had a meeting at Corporate. After work, went to Home Depot and picked up a new liner for our pond. Came home, cut the grass, edged, trimmed, then it started to rain so I went inside and started to read a bit. Kurt, Michael, Dan and I went and saw a movie and went out to eat. We went to Red Robin and then saw Hairspray. Cute movie, food was okay. After that, got home and went to bed. It was a really nice evening.

New Week begins.... Got up and got to the gym. So tired but trying to drink more water and keep awake. Did my cardio, then got ready for work. Work was good - not much to say about it. Keeping busy. At lunch, did an arm workout - sore. After getting back to work, had a ton to do and the afternoon flew by. I finished up everything I was working on and headed out. Got home, took care of the animals and cleaned up. I cooked dinner, it was really good - I watched something on the View and it had a good recipe so made a chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, chipolte peppers and mushrooms, it was spicy but good. We ate dinner then I headed to Boot camp with Dan. Kurt and Michael went grocery shopping. Came home and watched The Closer then went to bed.

It's Sunday. Got up and went for a walk with the dogs. It's beautiful at this camp site. Took the dogs around the park and then across from the camp is a cow farm so took the dogs over to see them. Mocha thought one of the cows was just a big dog, she's not the smartest. So got cleaned up and packed up my stuff, had to leave early in order to get home and take care of some errands. So got on the road, stopped once at McDonald's to use the restroom and get something to eat. Ended up giving most of the food I got to the dogs and drank my coffee (It was delicious). Got home in under 3 hours, made really good time. Came home, fed the cats (they got locked in my office - they must have been playing with the door - I don't think they were there long because there were pillos on the floor and dirt from the plants was everywhere). Then washed my car - inside and out. It looks so good now - it was filthy before. So really cleaned it - spent about 2 hours on that. Then came inside, folded clothes, cleaned up the house, went to Blockbuster and returned a movie, then came back home and ate some left over pizza. I got a call to help dan with some furniture they bought. New Outdoor stuff so helped with that, then Kurt got home. He picked up Chinese food - so good. So we ate and watched the Simpsons. I pretty much fell asleep after that, I was so tired. It was a very nice weekend.

Got up really, really early and headed out to White Cloud to see the family. Went and got coffee at Tim Horton's (My favorite) and was on my way. I had the dogs with me and they loved going for a car ride. Everything was good except my car was a pretty much covered in dog hair. Took about 3 hours to get there, no traffic at all. Stopped once for gas and for popcorn. Got to the RV camp site and it was awesome. Huge, had a giant pool, game room, workout facility, really nice & clean shower house, nice bathrooms, a store, docks for boats - it was a really nice set up. So got there, let the dogs out, took them for a little walk and then hung out with the family. Played volleyball and some other games then went to the pool. I had a great time with the kids playing with them and swimming. After that, went boating and then came back to eat dinner. Played some volleyball - that was a lot of fun. After that, napped for a bit and watched Legally Blonde then went over to the camp fire and hung out for a bit. Such a great day, wish I was able to stay longer. Around 11:00 pm or so, went to bed. Fell asleep pretty quick, being in the sun all day wore me out.

It's Friday.... So happy that it's almost the weekend. It was a busy night last night, Friend Michael got into a biking accident and broke his collar bone so I went with Dan to the hospital to go get his car (since he can't drive) and then came home. Got home around 11 pm and went to bed. So Friday, got up and went to the gym - good AB workout. Work went by really fast, had lots to do. At lunch, went to Walmart - got a little gift for my friend Jennifer (She is pregnant with her first child). Got some school supplies (for Judson Center) and then got back to the office. Ate my lunch - it was so good. Kurt made Thai chicken wraps. After lunch, finished up my day - Kurt left for White Cloud (hour outside of Grand Rapids) - Family vacation. I'm heading up tomorrow. So got home, took care of the animals then took the dogs with me to drop off Michael's car then walked back home with the doggies. After that, went to Blockbuster and rented a couple of movies and picked up a pizza. I came home and ate, watched a movie then went to Frosty Treats in Berkley for ice cream with Dan/Michael. After that, pretty much watched my movie and fell asleep. It was really nice to just sleep in.

It's Thursday - So happy about that. Getting closer to the weekend. Got up and went to the gym, felt a little better today - and a little more energy. After the gym, got to work and started on a new project. It was a fast day because I had a meeting from 10 am to 1 pm and it took about 1/2 hour or so to get there. Got back to the office around 1:45 pm and worked on an issue with Legal (Reporting). After work, came home and fed the fish, took dogs for a walk and then fed the rest of the animals. I then went and got my haircut. I got home just as Kurt did so we decided to go out to dinner, we met up with Dawn and Todd at Pronto! After dinner, hung out for a little bit with Dawn then came home and got ready for Friday. Almost the weekend.

Half Week already. Slept horrible last night. Up every couple of hours. So ended up not going to the gym this morning, got up and had coffee and did a crossword then started getting ready for work. This is a picture of me if I was on the Simpson. Cute idea by Burger King for the new Simpson movie coming out. So went to work and still so tired, I need to go to my doctor because I shouldn't be this tired. Anyway - at lunch, went to the gym and did cardio and abs. Back to work, finished up some stuff then headed home. Cleaned up a bit then got my haircut. Came home, got changed and we went to the Boot camp class. So tough, but got through it. After that, came home and showered then met up with Mark and John. They are leaving for Texas and wanted to say good bye. Didn't stay out very late, came home and then went to bed.

Tuesday has been a good day so far, tired but getting stuff accomplished. I pushed myself to get to the gym this morning - no energy. Work has been good, working on a new project. Lunch - gym, did Chest - now I'm sore. Real busy afternoon and once I leave work - I have to drop stuff off at Pronto, return some movies then get home, feed the animals and then take Finnegan to the Vet. So took care of all of that - came home and then cut the front yard. We then headed over to Dino's to have dinner with Todd. Fish and Chips are yummy. After that, Home Depot to check out some stuff for the pond. Came home, Michael and Dan came over and we watched My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Cute movie. I was so tired by the time it was over. Fell right to sleep.

It's Monday again. Got up and got through my cardio - really no interest in doing it but forced myself. After eating 5 donuts on Saturday and popcorn/M&M's on Sunday - I really needed the cardio. So finished that and then got ready for work. Work was okay today - not a lot going on but able to clean some things off my plate. At lunch time, went to the Post Office, mailed something to a counselor at my old camp. I signed up for Alumni Angels (old alumni send stuff to the new staff). So mailed that off then went to the gym and got a good back workout in. After that, got back to work and finished up my day. It went by pretty quick. After work, got some movies (Kurt's favorite - Princess Bride) and picked up Thai food. Kurt got home and we ate then I headed over to Michael and Dan's - we did the Boot camp. It was tough today but got through it. I bought 5 new Coi fish on the way to Boot Camp and had to run from Boot Camp to the Fish store before they closed. I got 2 Comet, 2 Koi and 1 Tancho. They are cute - I named them and hopefully the live a long time (Not cheap). I got home, put them in the pond then took a shower. I then watched The Closer and went to sleep. (I Love My Sister Tracy - So Classy :)

Woke up at 9:00 am, that never happens. The cats and dogs were very anxious to eat. So fed them then took the dogs for a walk to the park. Threw the ball for a while then walked them back home. They love going to the park. After that, had to clean up again (the dogs got out of the bedroom yesterday and made a mess of the house). After cleaning up, got cleaned up myself then we headed over to Birmingham. Walked around town. Saw Harry Potter - what a good movie, long but good. Really enjoyed it. It was about 2 1/2 hours long. Really good though. After that, came home and worked in the yard for a bit, edged, trimmed, clipped bushes, then laid down for a bit. Kurt went to Pronto, I met up with a friend (Mike) for coffee. We hung out for a bit, it was fun then met up with Kurt. The evening was more eventful then I could handle so I left pretty early. Came home and cut the grass, then watered for a little bit. After that, got ready for work on Monday then went to bed.

Got up, slept in a bit, and started cleaning the whole house. I cleaned for about 2 1/2 hours. The house pretty much sparkled. We then got cleaned up and packed up some clothes for the wedding. Got on the road by a little after 10:00 am and headed towards Grand Rapids. On the way, we stopped at the Kensignton Outlet mall. Got a few things at Banana Republic (Great deals) and then got a new Mirror and bed spread from Bombay Company. Really nice stuff. Oh, on the way - We stopped at Dunkin Donuts and I got 1/2 dozen donuts, (I ate 5 of them) and a breakfast sandwich. It's the rule, going out of town means we can eat fast food and as much as we want of it. We stopped at Kurt's grandparents on the way - had a nice time with them then we headed over to my parents hotel room to get changed/ready. We ran into my brother and wife at the hotel room and we all drove together. The wedding was beautiful - the church was really pretty. The wedding itself was pretty quick so we decided to go get a cocktail before the reception - it's really fun hanging out with Tracy and Shon. We had a great time then headed over to the reception. It was at this beautiful golf course - very nice. Got there and said hello to everyone then hung out with all my relatives. I really do have the best family - everyone is so nice and I had the greatest time. Was hoping to stay the night but couldn't find someone to check on the dogs so around 9:30, we headed out back home. I drove home and Kurt immediately fell asleep for the entire ride - it was okay though because I had my iPod on. It was really a perfect day. We got home around 11:45, so unloaded the car, let the dogs out, then met up with Michael and Dan for a bit but was pretty tired so came home very soon afterwards.

Happy Friday. This week has flown by so quickly. Actually slept in this morning, no gym - I'm going to Boot Camp later on so I don't feel guilty. Got up, had coffee - even got more coffee at Tim Horton's (So yummy) and a Bran Blueberry muffin. Such a good way to start the day. Today should be a really good one - lots to do to keep my day busy. Work was good, at lunch time went to the mall and used my gift certificates - Got a new pair of pants and shirt from Banana Republic then had lunch with a friend. Got back to work and finished up some reports. After work, came home - brought in the garbage cans, fed the pets, cleaned up a bit then got changed. We went to boot camp again, what a workout. I actually got sick afterwards - it was a great workout. Went home and got cleaned up then met up with some friends for dinner at Como's. It was Jack, Pete, Michael, Dan, Todd, Jack, Kiki, Jennifer, Jason, Allan, it was a really nice time. Didn't actually eat there, so afterwards we went to BW3 and had dinner. I ate too much. After that, just went home to bed.

It's already Thursday. So the new Harry Potter film came out yesterday but I didn't go see it - Will definitely see it this weekend. I'm so sore from yesterday's Boot Camp workout. Had a great time, had fun but it was a very strenuous workout. Dan and Michael made it a lot of fun. So got up, did cardio and abs then got to work. The day was really good, been working on this report forever but not able to get it to work, got some help from a friend at work and it's finally working. Anyway - I know dorky to be excited about that but it's a big relief. At lunch, did a shoulder workout - really pushed myself. Got back to work, had a bunch of stuff to work on so the afternoon flew by. After work, came home - animals, vacuumed, took out garbage, and packed my bag for Friday then headed over to Todd's house to try at his computer again. The problem is that his 3D card is not compatiable with his PC. Came back home and chilled with Kurt for a bit. Watched a little TV, played with the animals then got cleaned up. We were going to get some dinner but decided to skip dinner and just visit with friends. Had a really nice evening, spent time with Dan, Michael, Mark, John, Jack, Pete, Jason (Yes, I'm a nice guy even though everyone say's I'm not), HAPPY BIRTHDAY KERRIN, Jadi, Mike, Chris, Brian... it was a really nice evening....HOW CUTE IS IVY???

7-11.... Actually at 7-11 (the store) they are giving away from Slurpees - I'm so there. It's Wednesday already - so tired again. Got up and fed the animals, then headed out to the gym. Did another hour of cardio, I feel pretty good - just so tired though. Read a lot of fun magazines at the gym, I need to get a subscription to People - always fun reading. Work was good, working on some old stuff that I have been procrastanating about. At lunch, worked out - quick arm workout, then had lunch. After work, came home - so warm and dry. Fed all the pets, cleaned up a bit, watered and then headed over to Todd's to look at his PC, having issues. After that, came home, made dinner - a Pasta and Chicken dish. After dinner, cleaned up then got changed. We were going to a Boot Camp workout at a new gym that a friend of a friend owns. We headed over to Michael and Dan's house, picked them up then went to the gym. The workout was really tough, high impact, low weights and I'm so sore from it. You sweat a lot. After that, came home, put away dishes and did some laundry then went to bed. I fell asleep immediately. Fun Day - Plus Harry Potter opened today (I ordered his latest book, great deal - only $18.00 delivered)

Slept pretty good last night, fell asleep fast after roller blading last night. Got up and headed to the gym, did a good hour of cardio and watched part of Babel. Got to work and it was an okay day, pretty slow right now still - a lot of people off this week. I'm really tired today - not sure why I think I need to start drinking more water. At lunch time, went to Target, bought more kitty liter and dog food plus dog snacks. I got the new Smashing Pumpkins CD - it's okay I guess. Back to work and finished up the day. Got home and took care of the animals then had to take Henry in to the vet. He was much better than Finnegan. He got his shots and had his ears cleaned out (had ear mites), then it was back home. Kurt picked up dinner, it was really good - salads from Panera Bread. It had blue berries, strawberries, pecans, chicken and greens with a poppy seed dressing. I played a few games of Guitar Hero and then we headed out to return/get new movies from Blockbuster. We picked up snacks too and headed to Michael and Dan's house. Hung out there and watched a movie. I played with Mason (their dog) and around 10 PM headed home and went to bed.

I don't know if I can handle being back, having 5 days off was so nice - I really enjoyed the long weekend. Well, for a Monday - it's not too bad, very hot but okay. Got up and went to the gym, did over an hour of cardio. Work has been okay so far - pretty busy but good. After work, came home - so hot - got up to 100', so really didn't do too much. Fed the dogs and cats, got stuff ready for Tuesday, cleaned up a bit then started to make dinner. Made some home made spaghetti sauce and made a lemon chicken with whole wheat pasta noodles with the tomato sauce on top. It was really good and pretty healthy. After dinner, we roller bladed over to Michael and Dan's house, then roller bladed to Dairy Queen - and continue for about 1 1/2 hours. So we figure - we must have burned over the calories from dessert. After that, got home and cut the grass - front and back then came inside, watched The Closer and fell asleep. Oh and I've been practicing the Guitar game.

Got up - pretty late, I was so tired. Fed the animals and did a few things around the house - nothing too much. Then we got cleaned up and headed out to Rochester to watch the Softball games. Before we did that, we went to DSW and I ended up getting 5 new pair of shoes (it's the summer clearance sale so they were 80% off) Got a great day on all of the shoes. So after that, went to the game and hung out there for a bit. So hot and ended up getting a little sunburned. We then left, drove back home and I made lunch. It was a spicy chicken salad with baked potatoes. It was pretty good. After lunch, we played the guitar game for a bit and then Bonnie/Michelle came over. Love them girls. We chatted and played the game for a bit then headed out to dinner at Peking House. Kurt and I shared a meal, I was still a little full from lunch. After dinner, came back to the house and hung out chatting/catching up. After they left, did some laundry, folded clothes and put all of the clothes I had in the basement away. Got my gym bag packed and then watched some TV before falling asleep. It was a really nice long weekend.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Today was a really nice day. Got up and we had coffee and a muffin, then around 10:00 am, my parents came over - it was really nice hanging out with them, around 10:30, my brother/sister/nephew/niece came over. We all went out to lunch - it was a wonderful afternoon. We ate and talked, then went over to Todd's house so everyone could see what he's been doing to the house. After that, came home - I laid down for a bit, relaxed, wathced a movie then around 7:00 pm, we had some people over and got to hang out with friends for a bit. Todd, Dawn, Mark, John, Kerrin, Katie, Dan, Michael all came over - it was really nice. Got some really good friends. I got a really cool gift - it's a Guitar game for the XBOX 360. It was so much fun, you play the notes on the screen to a song and you get points based on your skills. Mark ended up killing everyone else's score. After that, we headed out to Pronto! and met up with Jack, Pete, Jaadi, Brett and Allen (They are moving to Chicago), Dave, Celeste, Melayna, and others. It was a really perfect birthday - we then decided to go get some food at Coney Island, it was a late night meal. Ate and then headed home.

Today was such a busy day. I had so much to do and was running around from the time I got up til evening. SO got up, and cut the grass outside - I then raked up some dead grass and put down seed. I then went to Home Depot, returned some mulch that was the wrong kind and got new stuff and some planting soil. I then headed over to Todd's house, worked on his pc for two hours (he got a new game but it wouldn't work), then went to the grocery store - returned bottles (we had a ton) and got stuff for lunches for next week. After that, returned a movie and got a new one, came home, unloaded groceries, put down the mulch and then put the top soil over the new seed. After that, we had the Metro Detroit Garden Society come over and they wanted to see our back yard, someone recommended it to them - so they wanted to know if we would be willing to be in a garden tour. So that was cool. After that, I headed out and got some fish for the pond then came back home baked a cake for Dawn (her birthday) Happy Birthday Dawn! By then it was 5 pm and Kurt got home. We had Mark, John, Todd, Jack, Dan and Micheal over - we were meeting at our house before heading out to Dave and Buster's to celebrate Dawn's birthday. Had so much fun, John and Dawn got to Dave and Buster's right after we did, we ate and then played games until 12:30 or 1:00 am. SO much fun - we then went to Michael and Dan's house - they gave us a tour then drove us home. Such a great evening.

So glad that I took Thursday and Friday off. Today was a great day, got up and did a bunch of running around - errands and some cleaning around the house. I then headed over to my parents house to see my nephew and niece and parents. It was such a nice afternoon, I took Hudson for a long walk to the store to get a toy. He is so cute, he sang me happy birthday and the alphabet song. I got to spend time with Ivy, she is teething now so she wasn't too happy. Hudson is potty training and was cracking me up - He informed me that he is a big boy now because he goes potty in the toilet. My mom made us a nice lunch, so we ate and chatted - so good seeing them. I hung out for a while then headed to Walmart (got a gift card from my parents) and bought new sheets. Came home, did some laundry and then headed to the gym. After the gym, came home and we ate dinner. After dinner, we met up with Mark and John for a bit but came home pretty early - we were really tired. It was a really nice day.

HAPPY JULY 4TH!! Got up, not enough sleep - So tired but had to get going. Ended up staying up till after 5:30 am, had Red Bulls last night and it kept me up. So only got 3 hours of sleep and really feeling it. Fed the dogs and cats, then headed outside to work in the yard for a bit. There was a parade right by our house that I could hear, too tired to walk down to see it. For lunch, I picked up some Chinese food and got a movie, so we watched that and relaxed for the most part of the afternoon. We headed over to Steve and Chris's house - it was only suppose to be for about twenty minutes, but ended up staying over for about 5 hours. I then brought Kurt home, he had to work on Thursday but I didn't so I met up with Justin, Wayne and Fuzzy at Pronto! for a bit. Only there for about an hour and then came home. Ahhh - Sleep.

Today is my last day of the week to work - pretty excited about that. Tomorrow off for the holiday then took off Thursday and Friday - made it a long weekend. Got to the gym really early today - before they opened - ugh. But did get a good workout once they did open. Work was good, very quiet - no one was there. After work, came home and had some errands to run. I then played tennis with Todd, that was fun - I did pretty good (I won). After that, came home got showered and dressed. Mark and John came over and we headed out to John F.'s house for a 4th party. My gosh, what a beautiful home he has, right off Sylvan lake. Had such a great time, John is such a good guy, love his cousin Sandy - great girl. We stayed till about 1:30 am, met some really great people - Dan and Michael, Rachel, Sue, and many more. I'm so glad we went to the party, JOHN you rock!

It's Monday but I only have to work today and tomorrow so the week should fly by. So looking forward to sleeping in and not having to do anything... :) Got up, did a pretty good cardio, slept not so well last night - Finnegan and Henry were running around playing and woke me up, tomorrow - they are definitely getting locked up so I can sleep. Work was okay, pretty slow with all the local car companies closed for shut down. A lot of people are off this week - so very quiet all day. Lunch time got a really good chest workout in - I pushed myself so that felt good. Rest of the day -okay. Left work, got home and fed the farm then started making dinner. Kurt got home and I got my Birthday present early - the Dyson DC17 vacuum. It's what I really wanted, it's amazing how much more it picks up then our old vacuum. It's kind of gross if you ask me. So I vacuumed for the next two hours, totally amazed by it, Kurt went to the store and got a new pair of shoes. After that, we went for a walk with the dogs then came home and watched The Closer, good show. Then fell asleep. I slept in way too late, almost 9:00 a.m. and I think that made more tired than if I didn't get enough sleep at all. Got up and made coffee and woke up a bit. The animals were going crazy to be feed so took care of them then loaded some new music to my iPod and burned some movies. Mark gave me a couple of CD's that are awesome so got those in my iTunes. Then headed outside and planted some tall grasses and moved a couple of bushes around. After that, made lunch - grilled cheese sandwiches. We ate lunch and watched You, Me & Dupree. It was okay, little Hoakey but funny. After that, went to CVS to get some pictures developed - got a picture of Me, Kurt, Megan, Pete, Jack, Pete and Joe framed to give to Megan & Pete as a going away gift. Then went to Blockbuster and returned a movie and got a new one. Came home and wrapped the gift - Kurt was making a big pasta salad for the BBQ at Joe's house. We then headed over to Mark & John's to pick them up and headed over to Joe's house. Had a really good time, it was nice chatting with everyone. It was a good group of people there. We ate and talked and the time flew by - we left around 10:00 pm, luckily I had everything already packed for Monday so I came home, let the animals out, let them back in and fell asleep. So had to take a picture of Finnegan and Henry spooning, they are so cute together. Click to see bigger.
