Thursday, 31 July

Last day of July. I got up, sleepy but okay. I stopped at 7-Eleven on the way and picked up some more coffee that I like (Blueberry Cream) so good. Dropped off Olivia and then went to the gym. I did an arm workout - okay, didn't push myself as hard as I should. So work was good, trying to play catch up - crazy busy. At lunch time I had an appointment - so went to that and then came back and ate lunch. I stayed a little late, trying to catch up on things then picked up Olivia and came home. Kurt did the nicest thing. I got home and he had brought out the airmattress onto the deck in the covered area, moved the table, he brought a bunch of pillows, two fans and we watched a movie and had dinner outside. It was so nice - dinner was good, Olivia had a great time just climbing over the two of us and it was doing something different. It end up being really comfortable too. After dinner, I cleaned up and then made some special bread for Olivia. This time I cooked it in the over and it turned out really good. She loved it with jam. After cleaning up, I got Olivia changed into pajamas and then we walked around the house for a good 3o minutes. That must have tired her out because she fell asleep immediately. I then changed and met up with Michael at Pronto for a little bit. Kurt stayed home and then we switched at 11:00. I came back and then he went out. It was a really nice night.

Wednesday, 30 July

Slept better last night, did get up once with Olivia - just changed her and she back to sleep. Took me a little longer to do that. So got up and started my day, fed the animals and got everything out to take to work. I got Olivia up and she was in a good mood. Gave her some orange juice, some of the bread I made with Grape Jelly on it. She really liked that. After giving her breakfast, I got her cleaned up and dressed. She looks really cute today. Got her to daycare and then went to the gym. Did my cardio... pushed myself this morning. I then got into work and started my day. Work was good, another very busy day. At lunch time I went to the gym and did another cardio workout. Finished my day - very very very busy. Flew by. Picked up Olivia on the way home and then drove home. Kurt had drawn a bath for Olivia and I then gave her a bath. She loves the water. After her bath, I got her dressed and fed her some dinner. Kurt had to go to a meeting at work so I made a pasta salad to take over to Mike and Dan's house. I got over to their house around 6:00. Kurt showed up shortly after (So did Barry). We had a really nice dinner - Mike grilled some steaks and chicken, we had potatoes, vegetables and for dessert we had chocolate cake. It was so good, I ate way too much. We watched some TV for a bit but then Olivia got cranky so I took her home and put her to bed. I had already packed my gym bag and work clothes so bacially I just went to bed - it was a really nice evening. PS - HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY DAN!

Tuesday, 29 July

It's been a weird day today....... One of my co-workers was let go. Very sad. I told Kurt today that the bombs keep getting closer and closer. This coworker sat right next to me. On an encouraging note, my boss told me that we are all fine and we should be fine for a while....good news at least. So finished my day at work then picked up Olivia. As soon as I got home, I dropped off Olivia with Kurt so I could go get some baking stuff to make bread and snacks for Olivia. I then came back home, started some laundry, cleaned up the dishes in the sink, made dinner for Olivia (had Kurt feed her), got my stuff ready for Wednesday, pack Olivia's lunch, feed the animals, then I baked a loaf of Glutten Free/Dairy Free/Wheat Free/Egg Free bread. It was actually really good. I also baked some glutten free/wheat free chocolate chips. Those were actually excellent tasting. So after baking, I cleaned up and then took Olivia downstairs. I watched TV while she climbed all over me. She was having fun and I was able to relax for a bit. Around 7:30, I took her upstairs and got her changed into pajamas, I then rocked with her until she fell asleep (around 8:00). I then got ready for bed, I was tired - I did stay up a little late though, I wanted to watch Big Brother.

Monday, 28 July

Today was really tough getting up this morning. Didn't sleep very well. Kurt worked Sunday night and when he got home, Riley went crazy and woke me up. Olivia was already up when I went into her room. She was just bouncing on her crib mattress. I'm hoping that now we know about her allergies and she is eating the right foods that her skin will heal up. She is still itching but it's getting better. After dropping her off at Day Care, I got to the gym. Just dragging, I did not have the energy at all but forced myself to continue the cardio. Work was busy, it's going well. I got an appointment for Olivia with the Allergiest for more testing on August13. At lunch, I did an AB workout. Came back to work and ate my lunch (left overs from last night). I gave blood today (they came to our office) and that took about 1 1/2 hours - really slow this time. Finished up after that and then headed home with Olivia. Got home, immediately changed Olivia (she gets so dirty at daycare) and then headed out to the Health Food Store. I got a bunch of recipes for Wheat Free/Glutten Free/Egg Free/Milk Free Breads and snacks so I wanted to get some of the ingredients I needed. The Health Food store had a lot to choose from, I got Egg Substitutes, Rice Flour, Tapioca Flour, Cookie mixes, Chocolate and Vanilla Rice Milk... well, too many things to list but I did get a bunch of things for our baby girl. After that, got home - Kurt had left for work already so I started cooking up a Cheesy Turkey Rice Noodle meal for Olivia's dinner. Rice Noodles take only a couple of minutes to prepare which is nice but if you overcook them even by a couple of minutes, they are mushy. Olivia loved her dinner, which made me happy. For Dessert, she got a couple of Oat Free Oatmeal cookies. After dinner, got her changed and we played for a while. I learned my lesson today, I was laying on the bed and Olivia was climbing on my back - well unfortunately Olivia lost her balance and fell off the bed - luckily she landed on a bunch of pillows but it scared her and she cried for a bit. She ended up falling asleep on my chest - so I put her to bed. I then started to clean up from the mess we made getting all the tupperware out of the cupboard, pulling out all of her bottles, pulling all of the socks out of her dresser... Got some laundry done and then got my stuff ready for Tuesday. I was so tired by the time I got done with all that. Went to bed and fell asleep pretty quickly. Woke up when Kurt got home, Riley and his barking are driving me crazy. I may have to put him in his Kennel tonight. Olivia got up around 4:00 am, I changed her and she went back to bed pretty quick. Sunday, 27 July

Got up this morning, let the dogs out and fed all the animals. I was in desperate need of coffee so made some coffee and then got showered and dressed. I picked up Olivia at my parents house and then visited with Shon/Tracy/Hudson/Ivy for a while. The kids are getting so big and are so cute. After that, I brought Olivia home and got a bag packed for her so we could all go to Dan's Mom's pool. Michael picked us up and we then got Dan and headed to his Mom's house. We had such a great time, we had lunch, swam, laid out, and Olivia had the best time. She loves th water. I couldn't get her out - I could but she kept wanting to go back in. So we hung out until about 5:30 or so. We then went home, stopping at CVS on the way (I had to get some more lotion for Olivia and a few other things). I accidently got lotion with fragrances in it by mistake and that really affected her skin - so this time I got the right stuff. We got home and I fed Olivia (She was getting cranky). Kurt then made us some dinner and I got Olivia ready for bed. She fell asleep pretty quick, she was so active today and I think it all hit her at once). After that, I got my stuff ready for work on Monday. Kurt went to Pronto for a bit and by the time he got home, I was asleep. Fun Weekend.

Saturday, 26 July

Got up with Olivia pretty early this morning, unfortunately for me - I was looking forward to getting some sleep. :) So decided to take her to Meijer's with me to go grocery shopping. I made a list of stuff to get that she would be able to eat. Luckily, Meijer's has a huge Glutten/Wheat free selections. I got Rice Milk, Glutten/Wheat free Cookies, Rice Chips, Rice Pasta, lots of vegetables and meat. It took us about an hour and 1/2 to shop, then came home and put everything away. I then fed Olivia breakfast - she actually liked the Rice Milk (It smelled bad). I then cooked up a bunch of Yams, Made a big batch of Rice and then baked up some chicken. My goal is to cook up a bunch of foods she can eat and have them ready for her for meals. I cooked for about 2 hours. Got lots of prepared meals for her. Kurt got up, and we all got cleaned up and then headed out to the Hot Diggidy Dog event in Royal Oak. It was a huge event - lots of kids there. We met up with Jill and her two kids and Emily and her two kids. There were huge Moon Walks all over, there were craft areas, face painting, food - they had Food Eating contests going on too. We couldn't stay too long because we had to go see Chelsea. She leaves on Tuesday for Las Vegas and we wanted her to see Olivia. We then headed to my parents house to drop off Olivia. We did that then headed back to the house. I immediately then went to Pappa Joe's to pick up the food for Dan's 40th birthday party. Then went to the store and got Balloons and ice. I then picked up the rest of the food we had at the house for the party and headed over to Dan/Mike's house to set up for the party. It took a couple of hours to get everything set up, I then went home and showered, got dressed and headed back over for the party. People starting showing up around 7:15 and by 7:30 about 20 people were there. Dan arrived back at the house a few minutes after that. It was a really fun surprised birthday party. More people showed up as the evening progressed. I ended up staying out late - to about 2:30.. I was exhausted and had to get home to sleep. It was a fun, busy day.

Friday, 25 July

So we just got the results back from Olivia's allergy tests. She has lots of allergies.

She is allergic to:

Eggs (both yolks and whites)
Coconut
Glutton
Beef
Bananas
Barley
Almonds
Corn
Hazelnuts
Milk

and they said that she showed low allergic signs to:
Avocado,
Tomatoes
Strawberries
Melon

This is going to be difficult, trying to find things that she will eat that will not cause her to have allergic reaction. But at least now we know and with this, her rashes/itching should clear up. Our poor angel, we have been feeding her all this stuff not knowing it's been what has caused all of her skin issues. This morning, did my regular stuff - dropped off Olivia and then got to the gym. Work was good, it's Friday so no complaints here. After work, picked up Olivia and brought her home. I feel so bad that this poor little girl has been going through all these food issues. I made her some chicken and potatoes for dinner. Luckily too, she loves carrots so cut up some carrots for her and she was pretty happy. Kurt went into work and for the rest of the evening, I played with Olivia until about 8:30 when she fell asleep in my lap. I put her to bed and then cleaned up for a bit. I watched one of the movies that I rented and then went to bed. Pretty uneventful.

Thursday, 24 July

I wish I could get a good night sleep, I just toss and turn all night. I ended up getting out of bed pretty early. Instead of just laying in bed not sleeping I decided to watch a little TV downstairs with some coffee. I then got the animals fed and then woke up Olivia. Got her fed and ready for Daycare. She was very active this morning, I got her up a little early so we practiced walking for a good twenty minutes, we then headed out for Day Care. She fell asleep within a minute of being in the car. Dropped her off and headed to the gym. Did my cardio workout and then got to work. Another busy day. Weird thing happened, the clock on my PC was off by an hour and 30 minutes and I didn't notice it until I thought it was 11:00 AM but it was actually 12:30 PM. I went to the gym, did a chest workout and then back to work. I had some of Kurt's meatloaf for lunch, so good. I then realized the clock was off because it was 2:30 and I thought it was only 1:00. Nice, only 1 1/2 hours to go. So finished my day, picked up Olivia and we headed home. I had some errands to do so I dropped off Olivia and then went to the store. Got the stuff I needed and then got home. We ate dinner and then went to Taget and T.J. Maxx - got a few things and then headed back home. I got Olivia changed into her Pajamas and then we played for a bit. Kurt went out to see Kerrin, Mark and John at Prontos, so I got Olivia to bed then started getting together my stuff for Friday. Got to bed around 10:30 or so - I did eat a bunch of Sour Gummy Worms before going to bed.

Wednesday, 23 July

Got up, tired, another night of tossing and turning. But I feel okay though, not dragging or anything. Did my morning "chores" and then got Olivia up. When I went into her room, she was standing in her crib with a big smile, not crying at all - So I lowered the side to the crib down. She danced for a while then she hugged me around the neck. Not sure if it was to get out of the crib but what ever it was - it made me so happy. She has been so affectionate lately and I love that. When I dropped her off this morning at Day Care, she hugged me and then put her hand on my face. It made my day. Did my cardio at the gym, I've been really pushing myself this week - this is workout number 7 and it's only Wednesday morning. After the gym, got to work and the day flew by - really really busy. Enjoying the new responsibilities. Worked on some issues and the first time I looked at my clock it was time for lunch. Went to the gym, did more cardio then back to the office. Finished up my day at work and then picked up Olivia. She was crying when I got her from Day Care. She cheered up pretty quickly though when I got her in the car and home. As soon as I got home, I changed and started working on cutting the grass. I brought Olivia outside with me, she played on her scooter. I cut our grass and the neighbors lawn (trying to be a nice neighb0r). I finished and then got cleaned up, I took Kurt and Olivia out to dinner. We had a really nice dinner and then came home. I then got Olivia in her pajamas and we practiced our walking. She is doing so good. She gets 10-12 steps in at a time before she plops down on her butt. She is so fast, I try to walk backwards in front of her to catch her in case she falls but she is so fast that I can't keep up. I then started getting my stuff ready for the next day. By then Olivia is ready for bed, so put her to bed and rubbed her head for a while. She falls asleep pretty fast if I rub her temples for a little while. After that, I got my clothes ready for work, packed the gym bag and then folded clothes. Always so much laundry with a baby. By then it was close to 10:00 pm and I was ready for bed.

Tuesday, 22 July

I'm still feeling pretty good, got up and had energy to do another good cardio. Olivia was really cranky this morning, not sure why but she just wanted to be held - so I held her and then she wanted to be let down. I let her down and she crawled over to my leg and held on to it and then put her hands up like she wanted to be held - so I held her and the same thing. Work is going really well, I started my new "Responsibilities" and I'm actually enjoying the change. I'm extremely busy which I like, the day flies by. At lunch, did another cardio workout then met Kurt for lunch. We had Jimmy John sandwiches. I ate too much. Finished my day at work then picked up Olivia. Kurt was off today so when I got home, he was folding clothes and making dinner (Makes me happy). Michael came over and we did a killer Shoulder workout. Sore from that. Finished that then showered, did a load of laundry and then we ate dinner. Kurt did a great job with the meatloaf casserole. It was very good. After dinner, I got stuff ready for Wednesday, then spent some time with Olivia. I then went to 7-Eleven and picked up some low fat ice cream (for Kurt) and Blueberry Cream coffee. It's my favorite. I had about 5 spoonfulls of ice cream but from the caffeine in it - it kept me up all night. It's going to be a rough day on Wednesday. Olivia went to bed around 8:30, she fought it for a while but then zonked out. I finished setting up Mike's laptop and then headed to bed.... but like I said, no sleep - tossed and turned all night.

Monday, 21 July

It's Monday, new week and back to work. I feel great today, got some good sleep and when I woke up this morning - I didn't feel like a zombie. (I've been sleeping in for the last 10 days so I thought it would be a lot harder to wake up). Fed the animals, Riley is so cute - since we got him shaved, he looks like a puppy. So did my morning stuff, made coffee, got dressed, got everything packed and in the car, got Olivia up, fed, cleaned and dressed. She was a little sleepy but once she woke up - she was chatting away. Her new word is "Puppy" - she says it over and over again. At her daycare, they have a Mini-Chihuahua and all the kids call it Puppy so I'm sure she picked it up there. Got her to daycare and then got to the gym. Did 40 minutes of cardio then got showered and dressed for work. Work was busy, playing catch up - being off for a week really puts me behind. The day went by fast. At lunch time, I did another cardio workout (Last week, I didn't do a single workout - I just relaxed so now trying to get back into the swing of things). Came back to the office and had some Chicken Noodle soup and a fat free yogurt. Finished my day then picked up Olivia. She is such the happy little girl. When I got to the Day Care, she came crawling as fast as she could to me and greeted me with a big smile. Made my day. Got her home and got her cleaned up. Kurt was home for a bit more until work so I then did an arm workout in the garage with Michael. We did biceps and triceps and inbetween each set we did jump rope. It was muggy out so we both got very sweaty. After the workout, got showered and then heated up the soup. Michael and Dan came over and we had soup plus they brought sandwiches from Quiznos. They were the 200 calorie folded pockets. Tastey. After dinner, they headed home and I played with Olivia. Really trying to encourage her walking. By 8:30, she fell asleep in my arms - so I put her to bed and then did some stuff around the house. Got all ready for Tuesday and was off to bed. I took some PM aspirins to help me fall asleep, they worked - I was asleep by 9:30.

Sunday, 20 July

I slept in to about 8:00 am or so. I was tired. Got up, made a pot of coffee and pretty much drank it all. Delicous. I checked out some websites - CNN, Perezhilton, MTV, then did some laundry, I jumped in the shower and shaved. I forgot to mention that on Saturday - I got a facial and it was so awesome. Sandy is the best. Okay - so got dressed, fed the animals, did some stuff around the house by then Olivia was up. She was so happy when I went into her room, big smile and chatting away. She pointed to her big teddy bear so I got her out of her crib and she climbed over to her bear and chatted with him. It's so cute to watch her with the bear. She stands up holding his hand and chats with him, had a full conversation. Then she climbed on him and jumped on him like a wrestling move. When Kurt got up, he got cleaned up and we headed out to the Mall, I had to return two dresses that were too small for her. Got to the mall, made the exchanges... such cute clothes. We then got some lunch at the food court. We saw Dan and Olivia walked for him, she did such a good job. We then got coffee - after that, headed home and watched the movie Dennis Quaid, Advantage Point - really good movie. Kurt went off to work, so Olivia and I hung out. I made her Macaroni and Cheese, she loved that and ate a lot. After dinner, a friend came over (Ryan from Windsor). We chatted for a while, played some Wii bowling, tennis and baseball. It was fun but I was tired, so he left and by then I had Olivia in bed already. Luckily early in the morning I got all my stuff ready for Monday. Let the dogs out for a little bit then went to bed. It was a really nice day. PS - My dad is doing much better. He is still in the hospital and will probably be there until Monday (He was checked in on Friday). He has an infection on his leg but it's getting better. Thank Gosh.

Saturday, 19 July

Got up and had some cereal - it was a good morning, I enjoyed my delicious coffee and watched an infomercial or two (yes, I'm addicted to them) then got showered and dressed. Olivia woke up soon after that so I got her up, gave her some oatmeal and peaches then got her cleaned up and dressed. She was in a very playful mood, so we just had a fun old morning. I then took Olivia to the store, had to get a few things for the salad I was making to take to Corey's house in the evening time. So we went to the store, then we returned some videos and got a few more rented out. After that, got home and by then Kurt was up - so I made him some Egyptian Eggs and bacon. He then got showered and we met up with Mike and Dan. We all went to Black Fin, then hung walked around town. We visited with Marleen and checked out this cool store that sells cement/marble sculptures. Got home and started to watch a movie - I fell asleep though. Olivia was napping while I did that. Got up and had to get Olivia cleaned and dressed to go to Corey's house. I had made up the salad already so I was ready to go after getting Olivia dressed. (She looked so cute in her new dress from Joel). We got to Corey's house and met his daughter Addison. She is a really nice girl, turning 13 soon - She told me all about camp and about going into 8th grade in the fall. I had a great time, dinner was so good and hanging out with Corey/Addison was so nice. We stayed to about 8 PM, and then we had to leave. Chelsea is leaving for Las Vegas next week and she wanted to see Olivia so I drove down to Chesleas Mom's house and she watched her for a bit. Michael picked me up and we went to Joe Hickey's house for his cocktail party. Stayed there for about an hour then visited Kurt at work for about a half hour. After that, picked up Olivia and went home. It was a really nice night but I was so tired. Got to bed by midnight.

Friday, 18 July

Got up and took Olivia to daycare. I got up early today - got a lot of sleep the night before. I then cut the grass, front and back, fed the animals and fish, did some laundry, cleaned up Olivia's room, put the dishes away, had some coffee and paid bills all before 8:30 am. I felt really good, got so much done and it was so early. After that, got showered and then worked on cleaning up the office - I had clothes everywhere. So put everything away, kind of tightied up the laundry room and then watched some TV. I have not really done any working out this whole week so I feel like a slug but taking a little time off has been really nice. When Kurt got up, we decided to get some lunch. Just got something light, some salads and then we came home and relaxed for a bit. Kurt had to work in the evening so we just hung out at the house for a while. I then went and got Olivia, horrible traffic but finally got her. Kurt saw a pair of shoes that he wanted from Target, really inexpensive and cute, something to wear out for fun, anyway - we went to one store and they didn't have his size so - I went to 3 other stores and found them for him, he was so happy. Got home, changed Olivia, Kurt said Good Bye and then it was a fun night for the two of us. Okay - HUGE NEWS - Our Little Olivia decided today was the day that she was going to start walking on her own. She was standing up holding on to her crib, she has been doing that for a while, she then turned around, learning on the crib and walked about 7 or 8 steps towards me. I was shocked, luckily this was right before Kurt left, so I screamed for him to come into her room (he was thinking something bad had happened) but then she did it again for him. We recorded it on our phones so hopefully I can get that uploaded. So we practiced all evening, having her stand up and walk. She is still a little clumsy with it but just the fact that she is walking makes us so happy. The smile on her face (it might be the look of shock too) is the best part, she is just as excited as we are. We had a great evening, had some dinner, played on the stairs, walked around for a while and then it was time for her to go to bed. I watched Project Runway and Shear Genius and then I went to bed. It was a really great day.

Thursday, 17 July

Slept in again, ahhh - vacation - so nice. I'm not looking forward to getting up early again next week. So got up and had some delicious Blueberry Cream coffee. After that, Olivia got up - got her cleaned up and dressed. Today was a jam packed day of errands. We went to Target, Toy's R Us, (We went to 3 Targets), and got some Taco Bell (I know, bad but it's vacation). Didn't eat much because we then headed over to Amy & Lisa's house to hang out with them at their pool. It was so humid and hot out, it was great to get in the water. We hung out their all afternoon. After that, got home and was going to take Olivia to my parent's house but Olivia was lathargic. She was overheated and dehydrated from being outside all day. I was a little freaked out so pretty much for the rest of the day she slept. Even though she wasn't in the sun, the heat effected her pretty bad. She is fine nice, we kept her cool and hyrated and she is fine now. So the evening for me was pretty much just watching some TV, I cooked a chicken and that was about it. I got so much sleep.

Wednesday, 16 July

Got up, slept in a bit - it was so nice to get some sleep. Got Olivia up and ready and then dropped her off at Day Care. After getting home, I got Kurt up, he had a meeting at Pronto. So he did that and I did some laundry and put away clothes, I watched a movie and by then Kurt was done with his meeting. We then went out to lunch at Jimi's - had Barbecue Chicken Salads - very good. After that, we met up with Chris at BW3's for a margarita. Very very good. We then came home and relaxed for a bit. Kurt got Chelsea to babysit this evening so we decided to go out for a bit. We met up Mike and Dan at Pronto, we hung out with BJ and his friend we then played some pool After that, we went to GC for a little while and then came home. It was a really fun evening. Got home, checked on Olivia (She was out cold) and then got ready for bed. Fun day.

Tuesday, 15 July

Got up around 6:30 and got Olivia up and dressed then headed out to get her to Day Care. I picked up some coffee on the way home. It was so good, Blue Berry Cream. Yum. After dropping off Olivia, I got home did a little bit of cleaning, I then took Mocha for a run. It's going to be hot today. Kurt and I went ran a few errands and went to lunch. A friend of ours was in a magazine so we got our copy of it, I also got a couple more magazines to read during my little vacation. At lunch time, we visited with Marleen. After lunch, came back home and relaxed for a while - Kurt had to work in the evening time. So I decided to put the decorative stone we got from Mark and John together. Kurt and I had fun with that. After that, Kurt left for work and Ipicked up Olivia. She was so cute. I brought her home and then got her cleaned up and fed her. She was hungry. I fed her chicken tenders. After dinner, we went for a walk and then played with some of her new toys. She loves her new personalized dora phone, it's says Olivia - which she just loves. It was then time for her to go to bed so I put her to sleep and then I watched a little TV before going to bed.

Monday, 14 July

So happy to have this week off - it was a really busy day today. Got up and got Olivia up and ready then took her to daycare. Got home and I started on the outside - so much to put away from the party. I first had to deflate all of the blow up toys and bouncy games. That took a while, I then cleaned out the garage, took everything out and organized it. Put all the tables/chairs back away and then organized the bottles/cans for return. I then started on the inside - Olivia's room was so full of gifts that I couldn't even get to her closet. SO I organized everything, put everything away and then was able to clean out her closet, make up her bed and vacuum. After that, I loaded up my car with the bottles and went to the store. I returned the bottles, went grocery shopping, then stopped at Trader Joe's so I could get Tea Tree Oil for Olivia. After that, I picked up some flowers at the store then got Olivia from Day Care. Got her home and changed her/fed her. By then, Kurt got home from work. I heated up some pizza and we had that with salad. Mike then picked me up and we played tennis - it was a lot of fun. I won. Woo Hoo. Came home and cleaned up from dinner, gave Olivia a bath and then got her in her pajamas. We played for a couple of hours - that was fun. She loves her new toys. I gave her some milk and it was then time for her to go to bed. I was pretty exhausted by then and fell asleep pretty early. I'm so happy with how much I got done today. :)

Sunday, 13 July

Got up with the worst headache/hangover - took some aspirins and then started my day. I had so much to do for the party. I started by blowing up all the blow up toys and moon walk games. I then got all the water toys ready, set up the tables and chairs, got the kids activities set up, got the table clothes on, put up decorations and had it all done by 10:00. I then got showered and changed and started doing some more cleaning. Got Kurt up and we then worked on more prepations. Scott, Lisa, Grandma B, Paige and Alec arrived at 12:30, Shon, Tracy, Hudson and Ivy a little later. My parent's arrived with Olivia around 1:30, right about then Mom and Dad Stanley, Heather, Tahya and Avy arrived. Shortly after that, Dan, Mike, Mark, John, Dawn, BJ and Alex, Chelsea F, Chelsea A, Marleen, Joel arrived. It was a really fun time, the kids had fun, I had fun, we ate pizza and salad, played games, played in the pool, the slip and slide, the bouncy toys, it was just a really great day. Olivia had her cake (well, it ended up everywhere), she then opened gifts and then it was time for her to take a nap. We started cleaning up a bit and some people had to leave and then more friends arrived. Jen, Kandy, Steve, Chris, Steven, Fish, Ron, Du, Mike, Jack, Pete, Joe, Jim, John, Daria. It was such a fun night, I'm so happy how the day turned out. Weather was perfect and I had the best time.

Saturday, 12 July

Today was such a fun day. I got up, showered and dressed (Olivia was still asleep), I then got her up and dressed. We went tot the store to get her birthday balloons and a few other things, we then got home - got her bag packed for Grandma's house and then headed out to the Huckleberry Railroad park. It was really hot and humid today, ugh - I was sweating through my clothes. We drove to the park and met up with my family. My aunt sue, uncle dale, jason, andrea, Kas, Don, Donny Jr., Morgan, Chelsea, Mom, Dad, Shon, Tracy, Hudson, and Ivy were all there. It was a really nice afternoon, we went on the train, had lunch, the steam boat, some rides and then did some shopping. It was so great seeing everyone, my Aunt Sue is so sweet - everyone in my family is. Olivia did really good, she chatted with everyone and really only got a little antsy when it was almost time to leave. I think the humidity and not getting her nap caused that. Olivia went home with my parents so I could set up tomorrow for her party. I got home and showered then picked up Mike and Dan and we went to Kerrin's party. Was going to go to Corey's party but got home late and it would have been a long drive to his house. Kerrin's party was a lot of fun, we then went to Pronto and I drank way too much. I didn't eat all day so the drinks went right to my head and I paid for it on Sunday.

Friday, 11 July

Got up and dropped off Olivia at daycare. I wasn't feeling very well so ended up taking a sick day. SO got home and went back to bed for a bit. I so needed the sleep. Around lunch time, ended up getting up and showering. Kurt and I got some lunch and I felt a lot better. SO we decided to see a movie - We saw Hell Boy 2. After that, picked up Olivia and then headed home. Kurt had to work so he got ready for that while I got Olivia cleaned up. She then ate dinner and it was a night of watching a movie (while keeping Olivia occupied). It was a fun night, she was making me laugh with all her funny noises she was making. I ended up getting some extra sleep this evening, I went to bed really early.

Thursday, 10 July

I slept pretty good, except at 12:30 - Olivia got up for a second. Changed her diaper and back to bed. She went back to sleep fast. Got up and did my daily routine, stopped at Tim Horton's for coffee (Jealous Kurt :) Did another arm workout then got showered and dressed for work. I have lots to do today..... Lots to do tomorrow also. Busy busy weekend.

The work day was good - went by fast. I went to Walmart at lunch time and bought 10 cases of soda and some of the snacks for Olivia's party. Got back to work and finished my day. Picked up Olivia and headed home. Kurt had to work so we came home and got cleaned up. We met up with Dan and Mike (and Matt) for dinner at BW3's. Dinner was good - service bad. After dinner, came home and we played. Olivia was full of energy so it was my goal to get her tuckered out. We walked 4 houses and back, then played with her scooter and then played with her blocks. After that, got her changed for bed and then put her to sleep. She was out cold within a minute. After that, cleaned up a bit and went to bed myself. I was tired.

Wednesday, 9 July

I feel like a zombie - I took a sleeping pill last night and when the alarm went off - I could barely wake up. Stopped for a Tim Horton's coffee on the way to daycare. Did my cardio and I woke up a little bit. Starving though, so I ate way too much - had some fresh fruit and yogurt (part of my lunch) and then had a crossaint/egg/cheese/bacon sandwich from the cafeteria. At lunch time, I had to get my oil changed in my car so took care of that, ugh - Speedy was not speedy, it took almost 1 1/2 hours. But now at least it is done. Finished my day then picked up Olivia. She had her 1 year check up so took her to the pediatrician. We waited a while, almost an hour. She was fine for about an hour then got antsy as soon as we got into the room. I think she was hungry and tired. Olivia got two shots, she didn't like that. After the doctors appointment, we came home and I gave her a bath. Kurt got home and brought take out with him. :) We actually ate dinner in the bathroom while giving Olivia a bath. Funny. After bath/dinner time - I got Olivia in pajamas and did some laundry. Kurt laid down with Olivia for a bit, since she missed her nap she was tired and was asleep before 8:00 pm. Got her to bed and then got all my stuff ready for Thursday. Just one more day of work and then vacation. :)

Tuesday, 8 July

I slept all through the night - all night...it's been a long time since I've done that. I really needed the sleep I guess. Got Olivia up and she did not want to get up, not even sippy cup woke her up. So got her dressed and ready to go and she just laid there trying to go back to sleep. I got her dropped off and then got to the gym, did my cardio and then got to work. Ghost Town here, no one is in the office. Worked and then at lunch time ran some errands. I went to get an oil change but the place was too busy so made an appointment for tomorrow. Finished my day and afterwork, I picked up Olivia and headed home. Olivia fell asleep for a bit but not very long so I got her home and changed her. Kurt headed out to work as soon as I got home, Olivia and I watched Einstein Baby and I did her hair. After that, fed her dinner and gave her some juice. After the video, we did some laundry and cleaned up a bit then it was time for Olivia to go to bed. I gave her a massage and she was out pretty quick. After that, I got my stuff ready for Wednesday and then I was off to bed too.
