Mom, Dad, Cindy and Butch came down and took us to the Lions game. It was so much fun. Cindy and Mom watched Olivia. We had such a great time. The Lions won too... Woo Hoo. 17 game losing streak broke.

Got up and did my cardio workout - felt really good. Had some coffee and then got Olivia up... Poor girl was so sick this morning. She was covered in snot - I know, gross but she was so congested and her nose had been running all night. SO got her up and cleaned up, she just wanted to be held... didn't want to eat or drink anything. Just wanted me to hold her. I did that until I had to leave at 9:00 am. Kurt stayed with her after that... he was tired but he did get up with her and held her most of the day. My poor baby. I got home and took over the baby monitoring. Held her most of the night until she went to bed.

Sunday, 20 September

Had a terrific day. Got up early, did my cardio workout then had some coffee. After that, got Olivia up and dressed, fed her some breakfast then we went for a bike ride. Rode up to the library to drop off some books, then to Tim Hortons to get her some Tim Bits, then to the dollar store and back home. Nice ride. After that, met up with Mike and Dan for breakfast at Nellos. After breakfast, we went to Ferndale for the Fabulous Ferndale Festival. That was fun - Olivia made us a beautiful fish pin. Walked around for a bit then Kurt had to leave to go into work. I worked outside on cutting down some of the hostas. Trying to get stuff ready for fall. It was a really nice evening. Went for another bike ride to the park, Olivia played on the swings and slides - she also climbed the rope ladder many many times.

Saturday, 19 November

Class went really well. Got out early, had my project done - so was able to get home and let Kurt get some rest. He had a late night working. Came home and made Olivia and Kurt some breakfast. I made omlettes for us and Oatmeal for Olivia. We then went and ran some errands - went to Target and blockbuster. Got Miss O. a new Dora video. So we watched that over and over again. My weekends of Dora are getting to be a bit much, we are going to have to start introducing Barney.

Friday, 18 September

Friday - finally. Seemed like a long week. Lots of studying and helped out some other classmates with the project. I was tired too, got up early - so ended up going to bed early. Did take Olivia on her walk, we went to the park and did a bike ride. I helped out at the commissary for a part of the day too. This is a picture of Olivia being Dolly Parton. She is too cute.

Thursday, 17 September

Really busy day.... Too much to list. Ended up only seeing Kurt for a matter of minutes between me getting home and him going to work. I picked up Olivia and we had a really nice evening. Went for a bike ride to the park, played on the swing and slides. She had fun.... I had a good time watching her be so proud of herself for doing everything on her own. Everything was, "Daddy, I did it myself" (She climbed the rope ladder). Fun times. I started working on my mom's scarf, it's going to turn out nice. I mailed out Nikki's scarf and the hat for Jocelyn. Hopefully they like that. I have a bunch of reading to do for class so going to spend my evening after Olivia is in bed doing that.

Wednesday, 16 September

Yesterday was a tough day - It was 4 years ago that Cole passed away so it took all the energy I had to get through the day. Kurt was amazing - he has been really supportive in everything that I've had to go through. From losing my job to going back to school. I'm really in a good place though, I really enjoy school and I'm finally pursuing something that I really want to do. So hopefully it all works out the way I want. Had to go to Eastern Michigan University today to get another copy of my transcripts. Got that taken care of, it was so weird being back again. After that, drove home - then headed up to the commissary to help Bill and Jim out for a bit. Helping them prepare for their cooking class tonight. After that, heading home - going to hang out with Olivia and then call it a day. It was a long day.
