Terrible Two's are definetly here. Olivia has been acting up something diva fierce. It's with both Kurt and I. She has started throwing temper tantrums if she doesn't get her way. So we have been trying to deal with it - it's hard to reason with an almost two year old. When she starts throwing a tantrum - we have been putting her in her room and making her sit on the floor. Changing the whole scenario of where we are/what we are doing - makes the crocodile tears stop immediately. We will be starting the time outs soon. Yesterday was a pretty good day. Work went by fast. Got a good ab workout at lunch. Cardio was good before work. After I left, dropped off some movies at Blockbuster then picked up stuff for dinner at the grocery store. I made a grilled pineapple and peach, barbecue chicken salad. It was really good. Romaine lettuced, roma tomatoes and a sweet and sour vinegarette dressing. I tried to replicate the salad I had earlier in the week. After dinner, cleaned up a bit then we hung out before Kurt had to go to work. Olivia was in much better spirits after dinner. I braided her hair - that took about 1/2 hour then got her in pajamas before playing with her for a bit and then bed. Evening was good, relaxing. Not much to say.

Wednesday, 18 March

Tammy had her baby!!! :) Congrats to Tammy & Brian Fickies (and Sophia). Here are pictures of little Jack. So cute.
Went to Red Lobster last night for dinner, good food but Olivia is starting to throw temper tantrums... not fun. I don't want to be one of those parents that just ignores it and then other patrons of the restaurant are annoyed. So took her into the bathroom until she calmed down. She threw a fit because she wanted more of the Biscuits (I know they are good...but) even though her mouth was completely stuffed with a biscuit. She looked like a chipmunk. She calmed down and then everything was fine until - we were just about to leave and she wanted to play with her food. I moved her plate and she started screaming and throwing a fit again. So we just left. Kurt was a little miffed but I've gone through this before several times... Terrible two's are starting a little early. She is usually really good but lately - if she doesn't get her way - a total melt down.
I almost had a melt down as well, while getting ready this morning, I noticed a hair - probably half an inch long growing from my ear. Between that, all the grey that started popping out on my head and uncontrollable bushy eyebrows that I have now - I'm having a hair melt down. Getting older sucks.
