Busy day..... Got up and ready, got Olivia up and ready - dropped her off, came home - packed my suitcase, had my meeting with Andrijana, then headed to the airport. My flight, slightly late, well 2 hours... ended up getting in Missouri at 5:00 pm. Got my car, got to the hotel around 6:00 or so. Went out for dinner, Jimmie Johns... delicous. Drove around for a bit then worked out for a bit. Independence is really beautiful... such a nice area. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the Missouri office.

Sunday, 27 June

Got up and cut the grass, did some laundry, cleaned the bedroom downstairs, cleaned Olivia's room, clean the bathrooms, and then picked up Olivia at my parents house... all before 11:30. Little Miss, Little Miss can't be wrong was grrrummpy. I think she stayed up way too late with grandma. Got her home and she was whiny, upset, crabby, and all together not very pleasant. She wanted to be held, didn't want to be held, wanted to lay down, didn't want to lay down, she wanted milk, didn't want milk... Ugh. So we took her out for lunch - hoping to cheer her up... she got a little better. Got pizza. Then went to Leon and Lulu's... such a cute store. Everyone was so nice. They loved Olivia there. Got her a new stuffed animal and a a new keychain for myself. After that, ran to the car in the rain... soaking wet. We got home and from the car to the door I became soaked to the bone. Kurt went to work so I played with Olivia, we had a great night. Big Trip tomorrow...

Saturday, 26 June

Busy but fun day. Got up early (not on purpose), the dogs got me up then Olivia got me up. Doesn't that girl know how to sleep in. I made her some breakfast, french toast and bacon. It was good, I ate too much. I then got her dressed, took a shower and got ready as well. We had to run a few errands, nothing major. We got home, got Kurt up and then we headed to Jocelyn's birthday party. It was really nice, lots of kids there.... lots of kids there. Did I mention there were a lot of kids there. Had to run to Old Navy, somehow I split my shorts. I basically mooned everyone. We left the party and headed home. Olivia spent the night with grandma. I had a party to work at for Pronto, worked with Jennifer (JT) - it was so much fun. Had a blast, she made it so much fun. Worked till 11:00 then headed home. Tired, went to bed.

Friday, 25 June

It's FRIDAY! Work was really good and quiet in the office - almost everyone from my group was off. At lunch, got a good workout in. Finished my day and headed to Old Navy on the way home. Got a shirt for me and JT for our catering party tomorrow. After that, headed home and saw my family :) Olivia decided her dress was too dirty and changed herself. I made goulash when I got up this morning so we heated it up and had it for dinner. Really good. Olivia even loved it. After dinner, we played outside for a bit, played in her pool and made a fire. After that, gave Oliva a bath and and got her ready for bed. We watched a little tv before she fell asleep. I stayed up for a bit - had to wrap some gifts for Jocelyn and Lola.

Thursday, 24 June

This week is flying by. Looking forward to the weekend. Busy night, had lots to do before my trip. So started doing some heft cleaning - I cleaned the downstairs really good, steam cleaned the carpet, steamed cleaned the walls, polished the furniture. Olivia was my little helper, she helped vaccuum and polish. After that, we watched Shrek - cute movie and she enjoyed it. It was then off to bed.

Wednesday, 23 June

We met Liza for dinner in Birmingham at Cosi. I'm not a big fan, they are way too unorganized and it took for ever for our meal. Plus they misrepresented theirself. There kids meals are supposed to include certain things and when we asked about her dessert - they said, oh - the sign was wrong. After dinner, we went to a toy store in town. Really cute stuff. Got Olivia some braceletes. We then went for dessert at the Cup Cake shop. Delicious. After that, we left. Poor Liza's car didn't start - her battery was dead.

Tuesday, 22 June

It was a very busy long day at work but it flew by. After work, picked up Olivia and got home. Kurt had cooked a really nice dinner. I got to eat Steak. Delicious. Kurt did a great job. We ate dinner and then went for a walk. Olivia rode her bike, she is getting really good on it. After the walk - Olivia wanted to swim so we let her swim for a bit. She is going to be an olympic swimmer for sure. I got her ready for bed after that, we watched a little TV and then off to bed for her. Kurt went out to Pronto for a bit.

Monday, 21 June

Work was busy, had an issue with a client that ended up being a lot bigger than expected but got it resolved. Happy about that. After work, got my baby girl from daycare and we got home right before Kurt had to leave for work. Met up for dinner with a friend, Olivia got to play with some of her friends - it was a nice evening. Got home and cleaned up the pantry, yes my glamourous life. :) Gave Olivia a bath and got her ready for bed. She just cracks me up, she read me a story about Goldilocks and the 3 bears then she had to comb my long beautiful hair (Her words). I just love that little girl.

Sunday, 20 June

HAPPY FATHERS DAY. Had a wonderful day. Woke up to a nice card and gift from Kurt and Olivia. Went to the grocery store to buy stuff to make breakfast. Got home and made cinnamon rolls then cut the grass. Kurt got up, so made coffee and breakfast. We then went to the movies and saw Toy Story 3. Olivia's first movie. She did so good, she even stayed awake for most of it. I really enjoyed the movie. After that, went to my parents house to spend time with my dad. Got to see my mom, Tracy, Ivy, Hudson, Mark and Jocelyn. Had a really nice time. Olivia hung out with Ivy and Grandma while Kurt and I grabbed some dinner at a Chinese buffet. It was really good, but I ended up embarrassing myself really bad. I was eating a kiwi and tried peeling the skin, ended up have it slip out of my hand and hit some lady in the face in the next booth. So embarrassed. After that, got home and we did more family stuff, played cards and read Olivia a story before putting her to bed. Good weekend.

Saturday, 19 June

Got up, dropped off some clothes at the drycleaner. Then went to Good Will and dropped off some stuff off there. After that, I promised Olivia a donut so we went to Donut Cutter and got a chocolate donut. It was really good. We got home and Olivia helped me wash my car. By then Kurt got up and showered, we then went to Target, returned a rug and got a new one. After that, got lunch at Cozy Cabin in Warren. It was really good. After our late lunch, came home and put Olivia down for a nap. Kurt and I hung out in the pool for a bit, it was a nice afternon. Olivia got up and went swimming for a while. Kurt went into work so Olivia and I had a fun evening hanging out - we went into town for a bit, picked up my dry cleaning and then got an ice cream.

Friday, 18 June

It's Friday..... So happy for the weekend. After work, picked up Olivia at the school by daycare. It was the last day of school so they had a giant moonwalk, and other games for the kids. It was so hot outside.... picked her up and was sweating bullets. Got home and changed. Decided to do some work outside, Olivia helped me. She is my little helper. We then went for a bike ride to Aunt JT's house. It was a nice relaxing evening. I need to get out.

Thursday, 17 June

After work, came home - Kurt took Olivia to the zoo so they were home. Had some dinner then Kurt went to work. For the evening, we played cards (that's Olivia new thing), played outside, went for a bike ride around the block then it was time for Olivia to go to bed. Gave her a bath then got her in pajamas. Rest of the evening was spent doing laundry...fun times. I love this picture.

Wednesday, 16 June

After work, came home and had some dinner - chicken burritos. Delicious. We then went to Target for a bit, got a new toaster oven... who knows why. We got a new rug for the kitchen also. We also decided on what we are doing for Olivia's birthday party. Going to Jungle Java. Should be fun for Olivia, us too. We played old maid when we got home, promised Olivia so did that then it was time for bed. Wednesday is done, so looking forward to this weekend.

Tuesday, 14 June

After work, went to the dentist. Thought I was getting a chipped tooth fixed - but he wanted me to spend 5 grand on 4 veneers. Yep, he was crazy. After that, got home, Kurt headed to a Tiger game. Took Olivia and some food over to Aunt JT/s house. We visited with Geo, Jakey, Gabriel and JT. Such a fun night. Just love JT. After that, came home and gave Olivia a bath. We then read a book, she combed my hair and read me a story, sang a few songs and then put her to bed. She is so cute. Had a headache so went to bed soon after.

Monday, 14 June

Back to work. Got up and did some cardio, got showered and ready for work. Got up Miss Olivia she was not happy about getting up. Got her some milk and toast and she was fine. Work was busy again. Day flew by. Picked up Olivia on the way home, had a nice surprise - Kurt made a bunch of food, baked mostacoli, greek pasta salad, baked red skin potatoes, and tacos. Food for the week, so nice. He then left for work so Olivia and I had a really fun evening. We cut the grass then went for a long bike ride. After that, we had a wig party - we both were Brett Micheals.

Sunday, 13 June

What a great family day. Got up and had some coffee, my delicious peppermint mocha creamer, relaxed for a bit before Olivia got up. She got up, we had some cinnamon toast crunch cereal then Olivia had a shower and I got her dressed. I got ready too and we went to the bank then the dollar store (love that store). Came home, got Kurt and we went to Costco and Pet Smart. After that, grabbed some lunch at Mr. B's. We then walked around Royal Oak for the Clay and Glass festival. Not really my thing but enjoyed walking around. Olivia fell asleep in my arms. She is getting too big to carry. It was cute though. After that, got home and relaxed for 2 minutes. I then cut the grass in the backyard and cleaned up a bit. We played cards, Old Maid and Uno. After cards, made some dinner - sesame chicken with green beans. We also had some ice cream. It was really a super fun family day.

Saturday, 12 June

Got up early, fed the animals then had some coffee. Then got showered and dressed then got Olivia up and ready. We then took a bike ride to Berkley for the Art Festival. Hot day. We met up with JT, Grandma T aylor and Jakey. Got a lot of stuff. After that rode home got cleaned up and we headed to Laurens Graduation Party. Party was a lot of fun, can't believe Lauren graduated, they are all getting so old. Great seeing the family, Olivia had fun swimming and bouncing in bounce house. Great day!

Friday, 11 June

I love JT. She is so awesome. Had such a wonderful evening. Olivia and I went to JT's house, then we all went to the mall with Jakey and Gabriel. It was a build a bear evening. Olivia, Jakey and Gabriel all built stuffed animals. Olivia made a pink bear in a bikini, Jake made a dog in shorts and a shirt, and Gabriel made a cute monkey. The kids had so much fun. I had a great time just getting out of the house and hanging out with my favorite girl. After build a bear, we did a little shopping then got some dinner. After that, we walked through the skywalk, got some coffee and hung out/chatted while the kids played in the fountain. I really had a nice time. We got home home around 10:00 pm, so I got Olivia in pajamas and to bed - I then cleaned up a bit before going to bed.

Thursday, 10 June

After work, got Olivia and Kurt and we headed to Noodles. We met Liza and Jacquelyn for dinner. The kids had macaroni and cheese, we had the lemon chicken asparagus pasta, delicious. I ate everything before Liza was even 1/2 done. After dinner, we went to Barnes and Noble. Liza - too generous. She bought Olivia 3 books, Thanks Liza. Jacquelyn is so cute with Olivia, she is such a good little girl. We hung out there for a bit - had a really fun time. Had some coffee while we were there, it was a really nice evening. After that, headed home, got Olivia ready for bed then Kurt and I hung out before going to bed.

Wednesday, 9 June

After work, got home and changed - then took Olivia to Lowes to return some stuff and get some mulch/flowers. Okay, so funny thing happened - I was returning some lumber and the girl was putting each piece into a shopping cart after she scanned it in... Well one large piece slipped out of the cart and landed right on my foot, slicing it across the toes. My foot started bleeding immediately and my big toe turned blue. The girl said - Oops, sorry. Oh well. So finished shopping and got home. I planted the flowers and laid down the mulch. Looks so nice. I then fed Olivia, gave her a bath and got her ready for bed. After that, I steam cleaned the carpet downstairs. Long day and didn't get to bed until midnight.

Tuesday, 8 June

Slept really good, got up and had some coffee - Olivia got up almost as soon as I did. Got her some milk and we chilled out for a bit. Got ready for work and got Olivia dressed - dropped her off and got to work. Once again, a very busy day. At lunch, got a new phone - got the incredible. Won't be in till the 29th... ugh. After that, finished my day at work. After work, went grocery shopping and then came home. Kurt made us a fantastic dinner - turkey burgers, brocolli salad, corn on the cob, and fresh fruit. Delicious. After dinner, played some games with Olivia.

Monday, 7 June

Back to work... good weekend but went way too fast. I feel like I need another day to recover and just relax. Still exhausted. Got to work, busy day again - flew by. At lunch, went to the mall and got a salad, saw Dan for a minute. Finished up work but stayed late so Kurt picked up Olivia and I met him in Royal Oak. Olivia's allergies are still bad so had to get out of a meeting. Got home, cut the grass - decided to use the edger and it took forever. Olivia was my little helper, she swept while I edged. We then went for a bike ride. After that, gave Olivia a shower then got her ready for bed. It was a really nice day.

Sunday, 6 June

Today was so much fun. Hung out with Liza all day. We were in Ferndale at the Festival then went to lunch at Red Robin then got Jacqueline and went to the Birmingham Carnival. The girls had so much fun, that were the best of buds. Jacqueline is such a sweet little girl and she was so good with Olivia. Olivia just idolized her, that played and went on rides and had a blast. After the carnival, came home and fed Olivia dinner - Kurt then got home from work and we had dinner. Olivia was exhausted and fell asleep by 7:30 pm. Happy Sunday.

Saturday, 5 June

Today was a very long day. Got up around 7 am, to get showered and dressed, get Olivia up and dressed, get Kurt up so he could get ready. My parents came over around 9:30 am to watch Olivia while we went to the funeral. Went to the church for the funeral, again - very sad. Lauren, Kristin, Nicole, Ryan and Kayla did a wonderful memorial for Aunt Betty. Very touching. After the funeral, I left to go pick up JT from the hospital. Poor thing, she looked exhausted - felt so bad for her. Took her home then went home. Took my parents and Olivia out to lunch at Jimmie's. Lunch was so good and I was starving. After lunch, came home - Kurt was there. I cut the grass in the back then cleaned the pool. Took Olivia swimming for a bit, she had fun. Fed the animals then cleaned up the house. After that, took another shower and got dressed, we ate a little dinner then hung out until Christy came over to watch Olivia. Kurt and I then went out for a couple of drinks at Pronto. Had a really great time, got to hang out with Don, John, Mark, John, Mark, John, Mike, Dan. Fun night. Left around midnight. Long day.

Friday, 4 June

Left work early to go to the funeral home for Aunt Betty. So sad, she was such a nice person and just loved her family so much. Got to the funeral home a little after 3, the whole family was there. It was a very sad evening, and I felt so bad for Jeff, Robin and Brenda and all the grand kids. I took Avy, Olivia and Tahya to Target to get them out of there for a little bit, let them all pick out a toy. Came back and played with the kids, Kurt left to go to work - I stayed for a couple of more hours. Then took Olivia home and fed her dinner. Cleaned up the house a bit then went to bed. Long day.

Thursday, 3 June

Not much going on today. Work was good, little frustrated about a few things but I will deal with it. I have a lot on my plate for the next couple of weeks. Going to be doing a lot of traveling in late June and most of July. Planning my trips. After work, came home after picking up Olivia. We had a good evening, went for a bike ride to the park, ran to the store, got food for the house and a few other things. After that, got home - gave Olivia a bath and called it a night.

Wednesday, 2 June

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KURT! It was a really nice day - after work, Kurt and Olivia met me up at McCormick and Schmidt for dinner. We had a really nice dinner, afterwards had to run to Target for a few things. We then came home and celebrated Kurt's birthday. He really liked his gifts. Kurt went out with some friends in the evening to celebrate a little more.

Tuesday, 1 June

First day of June, back to work - it was nice having 3 days off. Work was good, busy again but that makes my day fly by. After work, picked up Olivia from daycare and then we immediately went to the store to get Kurt's birthday gift. We then got stuff to decorate the house, a bunch of streamers, banners, balloons and signs. We got home and baked a cake, Olivia helped decorate it. I then spent the next two hours decorating the house... it looks cute. By the time I got done, it was 9:30 - so got Olivia to bed then spent a couple hourse getting some work done and getting ready for Wednesday.

Monday, 31 May

Got up to "Daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy - You awake? daddy, daddy, daddy" - My 6 am alarm clock on my day off... After getting up, I made Olivia some breakfast and then we got cleaned up and dressed. We met up with our friend Liza for the Royal Oak Memorial Parade, it was really nice - the parade was fun and we got to see our friends Dad lead the parade. After that, Liza, Olivia and I went out for breakfast. Good meal. The rest of the day was spent swimming, then hanging out with Kurt when he got off work. We had a good relaxing night.

Sunday, 30 May

Got up and started cleaning up the house. Olivia got up so made her some breakfast and got her cleaned up and dressed. I took her for a bike ride around the block (She has her big girl bike now). We got almost all the way around the block, the last few houses she decided to run rather than ride. We then went swimming for a little bit, Olivia can swim so good - so proud of her. After that, headed to Mark and John's house for the Memorial get together. It was a lot of fun, had a great time. Olivia took a nap at their house and when she woke up, decided to take her home. We went to the park (I made a promise to her), played there for a while and then came home and had dinner. Little Miss Crazy was up and full of energy until 10:30.. I was so tired but she was not ready to go to bed. Great day.

Saturday, 29 May

Today was a really fun day. Got up and had some coffee, Olivia got up so got her up and fed then dressed. We headed out to the gym. Got a spin class and chest workout in. After that, got showered and dressed then got Olivia and headed home. Picked up Kurt and we all ran a few errands. Went to Costco then got some lunch at Diablo's in Ferndale. Lunch was really good. After that, we picked up a pool for Olivia and the rest of the afternoon was spent getting it set up and filled. Olivia had a great time in her pool. In the evening, I had Mariah babysit Olivia - while I went to a little get together and Mike and Dan's house. Mark, John, Dawn, Jen, jenny, Mike, Dan, Neil, Michael, Travis were all there. It was really nice, had a great time. I really enjoyed catching with everyone. Great seeing Ms. Dawn. Got home around 12:30 or so. I was tired so had no problem falling asleep.

Friday, 28 May

Got up and ready for work then got Olivia ready for daycare. It was another good day, work was good and busy - ended up flying by. They let us out early from work so headed out around 4 to pick up Olivia. Got her home and got changed. It's hot out again. Put on some shorts and we ended up going for a bike ride. Olivia is doing so good on her big girl bike. Had a few errands to run so took Olivia with me to Target, grocery store and video store. Once we got back, made some dinner and then ended up going for a walk around the block. Olivia was pretty tired so it was an easy task getting her to bed. After that, finished up the laundry and went to bed.

Thursday, 27 May

Got up at the crack of dawn, showered, dressed and headed down to the front desk to check out. I got directions from the front desk to the airport, (unfortunately, the guy told me the wrong way) - luckily I figured it out early enough. So got to the airport, checked in and had some cofffee while I waited for my plane to board. The flight was fine, only about 2 hours - so once I got home, got into my car and headed to my parents house to pick up Olivia. Got her, so happy to see my baby - got her home and unpacked. It was way hot outside, so decided to go to the zoo - big mistake. It was school days at the zoo and there were a million little kids running around. We walked around for a bit but decided to come back to the house and go on the slip and slide. Olivia played on that for about 2 minutes. So after that, got Olivia on her big girl bike and she rode it all by herself. SO proud of her. I cut the grass and cleaned up the house. I was exhausted - so pretty much the rest of my evening was making dinner for Olivia, giving her a bath and then going to bed. TIRED.

Wednesday, 26 May

Really good day today, got up around 5:30 and got ready for work. Had some fresh fruit and yogurt then headed to the station. I was another busy day, ended up working till about 6:0o pm. It was my last day in Bentonville, AR - flying out in the morning - so decided to drive around the area and do a little shopping. So stopped at Old Navy and got a T-shirt and some shorts for my flight back. I got a few things for Kurt and Olivia too. After getting back to my hotel room, I got changed into workout clothes and got a good workout. I then walked into town to get some dinner. The rest of my evening was spent packing my bag and watching a little TV. I have a 6 am flight so need to get up and out no later then 4:15... bed early.

Tuesday, 25 May

I got up pretty early this morning, had some coffee and a really nice light breakfast - grapefruit pieces, orange slices and yogurt. It was delicious. Headed to the station and worked there from about 6:30 am to 12:30, got a quick lunch, and worked until about 6:30 pm. Got back to my room, then walked around the area. I'm in a big shopping area - I went to a video store, picked up a few things then got some dinner (a salad). Rest of my evening was spent watching the finale of the Biggest Loser. Big storm here.

Monday, 24 May

The day started early and ended late. Got up around 5:00 am, got showered, dressed and headed to the airport. I got there with an hour to spare so got some coffee and read a people magazine until my flight boarded. It was a quick flight, got into Cincinatti early and then flew out from there to Arkansas. It's a really beautiful area, I'm staying in Bentonville, AR - HQ of Walmart. I was shocked to see so many mansions in the area. After getting my rental car, I headed out to the Bentonville Police department. I worked from about 11:00 am to about 8:00 pm. I had a lot to do - so the evening flew. After leaving the station, I got some dinner (Sonic Burger is right across the street from my hotel - which by the way is so nice). Having a King size bed is very comfy. I got to Skype with Olivia and Kurt so it was nice to see them online. The rest of my evening was spent relaxing.....

Sunday, 23 May

What a fun day. We went to Greenfield Village and walked around the village and museum. It was a nice family day. We got there around 11:00 am and were there till about 4:00 pm. It was a really nice day, sunny and warm. We had lunch at the tavern there, I had fried smelt and Kurt had an asparagus and grilled onion pasta. Olivia had macaroni and peas. They had some of the Civil war reenactment going on, that was cool to see. We also got to go on the carousel - Olivia loved that. After getting home, I cleaned up the garage and got Olivia's pool filled. She ended up playing in the pool for a few hours. We are going to head out for a few errands and the rest of my evening will be packing for my trip. Great weekend.

Saturday, 22 May

Ugh, No sleep at all. Was up till at least 4:30 am and Olivia was up by 5:30. I managed through. So got up and had to take some shirts to the dry cleaner. Then took Olivia out for some pancakes at Pronto. It is Aunt Chelsea's birthday today, so we stopped at a few stores to get some gifts for her. It started raining super hard, we got soaking wet. Olivia loved it, we jumped in puddles, played in the rain with our umbrellas. So after getting home and drying off - got Kurt up and then ran a few errands. Went to Costco and Best Buy. After that stopped at Cole's place for a late lunch. I had some work to do at the Steppin Out office - so took Olivia with me and worked on their computers. We visited with Aunt Marlene and wished Aunt Chelsea a Happy Birthday. We had a very late dinner and then I finished setting up my own laptop. Nice day.

Friday, 21 May

I had such a fantastic day. After work - got home, got Olivia cleaned up and changed (We had a dinner party to go to and had to get her gussied up). We then headed out, stopped for some flowers for Bridget and some wine. Got to Bridget's house around 7:30, so nice seeing Mary and Billy, Joel and everyone else. Olivia played shy in the beginning but then warmed up to everyone. Dinner was really good, Bridget outdid herself. We got to catch up, have some wine, eat some dessert. Just a wonderful evening all together. By the end of the evening, Olivia didn't want to leave. Got home around 10:30, put Olivia to bed - unfortunately for me, I had some coffee and I was up for the night. Got to catch up on all my shows on DVR.

Thursday, 20 May

Busy busy day at work, but it went by fast. Never got a chance to leave for lunch. After work, came home and went on a bike ride to Berkley Park with Olivia. I met a really nice woman at the park, she just had another grandchild that day. It was nice chatting with her and her grand daughter Mia. After our bike ride, we cut the grass in the back yard then we went to the grocery store. Made some dinner then we relaxed for a bit. Such a beautiful day outside, trying to enjoy as much as possible.

Wednesday, 19 May

Got up and went to the gym. Did the spin class, it was a good workout. After that, got ready for work, then got Olivia ready for daycare. Dropped her off and had a really busy day at work. It was two before I noticed the time. After work, picked up Olivia and then rushed home. Geo dropped off Gabriel and Jake. We had a great time, played wii, ate grilled cheese sandwiches and apple sauce and then went to the park. Such a nice day, after that chattedwith JT for a bit then go Olivia ready for bed. just a perfect day.

Tuesday, 18 May

Another crappy weather day. Got up and got Olivia to daycare, work was good. Busy, the day just flew by. At lunch, went to the gym - got a great chest workout. I'm sore, very sore but that's good. Finished my day up at work then picked up Olivia. Got home and Olivia was feeling sick again, the cold rainy weather really messes with her system. So I basically cleaned up a bit, got stuff ready for the next day then went to CVS. Picked up my prescription then got some Chinese food. Delicious. We then watched The Biggest Loser. Nice night.

Monday, 17 May

Ugh, so tired but got up early and went to the gym. Did a spin class, it was okay - I like the Saturday class better, much more of a workout. The Monday/Wednesday class is run by a tree hugging hippy. After my workout, got ready for work and headed in. Work was good, I had a bunch of stuff on my plate so the day went by fast. At lunch, stopped at Verizon - getting a new phone. Can't wait - the New Droid. After work, got home and we had some dinner. Kurt made a fantastic meal. Oh, and Olivia was gone from Saturday evening to Monday afternoon - so I was so happy to see her. I missed her too much. So Monday night was just a fun family hangout night.

Sunday, 16 May

Busy day. Woke up early and we had to head out to Canton for the Cancer Walk Closing ceremony. Rough day for my brother, his anniversary would have been Saturday, birthday and the Cancer Walk with a special honor for wife on Sunday. So we wanted to be there for him. Unfortunately we missed the closing ceremony, we thought it started at 10 but it ended at 10. So went to my parents house and celebrated my brothers birthday. It was really nice, hung out with my brothers playing Nerf guns, we had a really good lunch (Thans Liza) and dessert. After that, headed home and worked in the yard for about 4 hours or so. Kurt and I then went out to Pronto and had margaritas and nachos. It was really nice, saw a lot of people and just had a really great time. Perfect weekend.

Saturday, 15 May

Today was a great day. Got up and got Olivia dressed, headed into town - worked on the computers at Steppin Out then picked up the food for the party. Got home and we then all headed out to Charlotte for mom's surprise retirement party. It was such a nice time. All the family was there and mom was surprised. Played with the kids, hung out with the adults - it was fun. After the party we went back to mom and dad's house. Played with the dune buggy, hit some golf balls, played with the kids some more. I was exhausted by the end of the day. I drove home later in the evening and actually stayed awake for the whole ride. Fun day.

Friday, 14 May

I think I'm coming down with a cold - ugh, maybe it's allergies. Got through the day though, barely. After work, I was exhausted but can't be exhausted with a kid. So picked her up from daycare and tried my darndest to keep her busy. We spent the evening by going to the pet store, getting dog food/cat food and a new toy for Riley. Olivia picked out a new toy for the fish tank. After that, we stopped for dinner - Arby's, yum. Ate dinner then it was bath time and bed time. I was so happy to put Olivia to bed because then it was time for me to sleep.

Thursday, 13 May

The weather has been cold and wet - ugh, it's been so bad for Olivia's allergy. Breathing treatment everyday for the last week or so. Cold and damp weather is not her friend. So after work, came home and basically spent the evening babying Olivia. We watched several episodes of dora the explorerand ate junk food. She felt a lot better.

Wednesday, 12 May

It was a long day today. Worked until almost 7 pm. By the time I got home, had some dinner and got changed - it was already 8:30. Gave Olivia a bath and got her ready for bed then got stuff redy for Thursday. I'm tired.

Tuesday, 11 May

Had dinner with some friends, it was nice to catch up. Went to Rosie O'Grady's... food was good and no smoking, nice. Olivia had dinner with us and she was very well behaved. She got some ice cream as a treat. When we got home, gave her a bath and got her ready for bed. She was out cold within a few minutes. The rest of my evening was spent getting ready for tomorrow.

Monday, 10 May

Back to work, work has been going great - really enjoy what I'm doing. It's been overwhelming at times but learning a lot. Day went by pretty fast, ending up staying pretty late. Left around 7 pm, got home and had some dinner. Then took Olivia to the park, it was nice out so we rode our bike. After that, came home and gave Olivia a bath and ready for bed. Nice day... at least Monday is over.

Sunday, 9 May

Family day...... got up and had some coffee, tried waking up - went downstairs and laid down on the couch (dogs got me up early), Olivia got up early too so got her some cereal and milk and we chilled out downstairs. I then got showered and dressed, got Olivia ready and we ran a few errands. Went to the grocery store, got some Tim Hortons coffee and donut holes for Oliva. We then went to the Book store, hung out there for a bit. We had lunch plans with Dawn so got Kurt and then met up with Aunt Dawn. It was really nice seeing her. After that, we took Olivia to the park, the big park in Southfield. Fun stuff. After that, came home, we had rented a movie so watched that and had a fun night.

Saturday, 8 May

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday....... So glad it's the weekend. Went to Green Field Village - awesome day. Beautiful outside. The yearly pass is awesome - we use it a lot. Got a little bit of sun, sunburn more like it. We spent the whole afternoon there. Came home after that, exhausted - took a little nap. Kurt had to go to work - so Olivia and I spent the evening watching movies and eatting popcorn.
