Saturday, 31 May

Last day of May. Olivia woke me up a few times during the night - I think her allergies are really bothering her, poor thing. So got up around 1:30, 3:30 and eventually stayed up around 5:30 am. Made her some breakfast, well - I think she may be allergic to eggs. I made her scrambled eggs and fed them to her, she seemed to like them - well - until she got violently sick. Poor thing. So I cleaned her up and got her changed, I had to reapply her lotion so I spent a little more time putting on her lotion because it soothes her. Just as I finished getting her dressed, she got sick all over herself again. I gave her some milk and she got sick on that and the rest of the eggs that were in her stomach. This is her first time throwing up, she has spit up before but never like this. So gave her a bath and she seemed to be fine, no temperature, she seemed okay. Got her cleaned up and dressed and I waited a little bit before trying to feed her again. I made macaroni and cheese and she ate it with no issues. She had two bowls of it, she was starving. I gave her juice too and she seemed fine with that as well. Kurt got up and we ran a few errands then spent most of the afternoon working on the yard. I ended up cutting the neighbors grass across the stress, they moved out and no one is taking care of the yard so I raked, edged, trimmed and cut the lawn. I then did the same to our yard. I had a lot of sunblock on so no sunburn for me - unfortunately - Kurt did not have any on and has a major farmers tan (burn). Kurt went to work and I got showered finally. Got Olivia changed and we went out to dinner with Mike, Dan, AJ and Troy. The food was good at BW3. After dinner, I went home - put Olivia to bed and did some laundry. Then went to bed myself. I was so tired and I think the sun made me even more tired.

Friday, 30 May

It's Friday. It's been a beautiful day so I'm hoping that it means it will be a great weekend weather wise. So got up and did the usual thing, feeling okay this morning - not too tired. Dropped off Olivia then went to the gym. Did some cardio. My work day was an easy one, not a lot of people were in the office so kind of slow. At lunch, I went to Walmart to pick up Green beans for the dogs and got a couple of snacks for lunches. Nutty Buddy's - one of my (Old) favorites when I was a kid now has 100 calorie packs of Nutty Buddy's. I loved those but haven't had one in 10 years because of how high in calories and fat they were so now I can. I actually did open the box in the car and tried it - very good. So after lunch, finished up and then got Olivia. She was smiling - big grin on her face when I showed up. We got home, Kurt was already there - it was his offical last day at Staples. People gave him a huge container of candy, some booze and a nice card. He likes the people he worked with it was just a money thing. So Mike, Dan, Kurt and I got dinner at this new place in Berkley. It's a burger place and it was so good. It used to be the Bear's Den (Kurt and I had our first date there), we had dinner then walked over and got ice cream next door. After that, headed home and watched a movie before falling asleep. Kurt went out for a bit.

Thursday, 29 May

Today was another great day. I feel pretty good - woke up late, didn't hear the alarm go off. SO rushed to get Olivia ready for day care and headed out, was about 20 minutes late all morning. Got my cardio in and also did a back workout at lunch. The day flew by, lots to do. After work, came home and Kurt was already making dinner. Olivia was out cold so put her down for a nap and then Michael came over and we did a boot camp workout just focusing on arms. My arms are so sore. After that, took out the garbage and then we ate dinner - It was so delicious. Kurt made a fantastic dinner. I ate so much food, stuffed myself. After dinner, I cleaned up and then started packing up the diaper bag and getting Olivia's outfit picked out. After that, I watched the Lost finale - that is the best show. It has so many surprises. Awesome show. I fell asleep shortly after that.

Wednesday, 28 May

It's Wednesday. What a nice day so far. It was suppose to be really cold and a chance of frost but it didn't happen. It got into the upper 70's. Olivia was up already when I got up, she was crying a bit - and poor thing, she leaked through her diaper, pajamas and on to her blanket. I changed her right before bed but she did have her bottle right before she fell asleep. So changed and cleaned her up. She was much happier after that. After dropping her off, I got in a great cardio, reading the book makes it go by quickly. The work day was good, went by fast. Another good cardio at lunch time. After work, got Olivia and headed home. Kurt was home already, so got Olivia cleaned up and then had to head out to get a haircut. I was at my haircutting place a lot longer than I expected so after that I picked up take out and brought it home. We ate dinner and then I cleaned up for a bit, played with Olivia and put her to bed. After that, got stuff ready for Thursday and then read for a bit before going to bed.

Tuesday, 27 May

Not really much to say about today, back to work so got up and fed the animals, got Olivia up and dressed, got my lunch/coffee and I was out the door. I did cardio in the morning then got to work. The day went by fast, catching up from having a few days off. At lunch, I did some more cardio - been reading "Is that you Vodka, it's me Chelsea" it's hilarious. Chelsea Handler is hilarious. So enjoying the new Donna Summer CD, every song is good. After work, picked up beautiful Olivia and we went to Bordines to get some flowers for the pots outside. Got home and I cleaned up a bit, made dinner and then when Kurt got home we ate. After that, I planted th flowers in the pots then gave Olivia a bath. She lvoes the water. We then had some ice cream (I'm so bad, but it's Kurt's fault - he wanted the ice cream). After that, put Olivia to bed then went to sleep shortly after that.

Monday, 26 May

Today was such an accomplishing day. We slept in a bit and then started on the pond and yard. Kurt headed out to Bordines to return and get a new tarp and I went to Lowe's to pick up 35 bags of dirt. It was fun carrying them all down to the pond - ugh, sore back. I worked in the yard most of the day then went grocery shopping. Came home and made us lunch, Kurt got the new tarp in and was able to fill up the pond. It looks great - he has all the stones around it and built up the dirt in the area. After lunch, I got cleaned up and then headed over to pick up Olivia from mom and dad's house. She had such a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. They took her to Greenfield Village and she went to the Civil War recreation, she went on the Merry-Go-Round, and she got ice cream. My dad took lots of pictures and they turned out so cute. So brought her home and she took a nap. I made some Frozen Fruit Salad as well as Lemon Cheesecake. Hopefully they turn out really good. We then went over to Michael and Dan's for dinner. It was so good, we had steak burgers, chicken, turkey burgers, corn on the cobb, grilled vegetables, and the salad. It was so good. I ate too much but did save room for dessert. Stuffed and tired now, I fell asleep at their house. After that, came home and went to bed. Back to work tomorrow.... short week though.

Sunday, 25 May

Got up and got Olivia up. Got her walking - and then fed her breakfast. I then made Kurt some breakfast - fresh hashbrowns (I gratted a potato), eggs and biscuits. It was pretty darn good. After that we all got started working in the yard, well - Olivia more of playing in her walker. We got a lot done, cut the grass, edged and trimmed the lawn and Kurt started on the back pond. We are going to make it a little smaller and put in a new liner. So Kurt drained it and then reshaped the pond. He is putting in a waterfall also. Around lunch time, My parents showed up to pick up Olivia to take her to the zoo. They came back a little later because the zoo wasn't letting anyone else in. We had lunch and then my parent's took Olivia for the night. We worked on the yard for a few more hours then got cleaned up. We went over to Mark and John's house for a bit and then headed out to Como's to meet up with Joel, Mike and Dan. Dave and Cindy came out too, it was a really fun night. We only stayed out to about 11:00 pm or so and then came home and got some sleep.

Saturday, 24 May

Got up - early, darn cats jumped on me and woke me up. Got Olivia bathed and dressed and we headed out early to Marshall to see the family. Olivia had a horrible allergic reaction in the car, we are still not sure what from. We stopped at the store and bought a couple of 100 % cotton blankets to put down on the car seat. It may be from the car seat - it's one we haven't used for a long time and it was in the garage. May be a dust allergy. So got to the camp grounds and it was really nice to see everyone. Avy was so cute with Olivia - she just loves babies. So got to spend time with the family but unfortunately, Kurt was working in the evening so we couldn't stay too long. We left around 3:00 pm - I drove home. It was a long drive and I was a little tired by the time we got home. So Olivia and I napped while Kurt got ready for work. Then we picked up Michael, went to Best Buy, Target and CiCi's Pizza. Dinner was so good and I'm sure it was really bad for us but we were starving. We had pizza, salad and lots of their little desserts... ugh, I'm getting so big. After that, I dropped off Michael and then put Olivia down for the night. I was pretty tired so I cleaned up a bit then went to bed myself.

Friday, 23 May

So glad it's Friday, long weekend - really looking forward to a little time off. Got up and got Olivia ready, dropped her off and did a cardio workout. After that, got to work and it ended up being a quick one. At lunch time, I went to Walmart and picked up some things then back to work. I only had to work until 3:00 which was nice - came home. Olivia and I played for a bit, I then fed her dinner, she was so happy. At 8:00 pm, Chelsea came over to watch Olivia. Kurt and I picked up Dan and Mike and we went to Pronto! for a bit, we then went to the Casino - I won $70, so happy about that. After that, we went to a club for a bit but didn't stay out to late, we were home by 1:00 am. It was a really nice evening, went out for a bit but still got in early enough to get some sleep. Thursday, 22 May

Got up, no coffee - ugh so stopped for Tim Horton's on the way to dropping off Olivia at Day care. Olivia was smiley and happy this morning, she got lots of sleep and I think she needed that. Did my workout, I feel so much better after that then off to work. Work - busy, not much to report. At lunch, I went to Costco to pick up diapers, formula and cat food. Got a few more things then it was time to get back to work. After that, picked up Olivia and by the time I got home, Kurt was already there. So he watched Olivia and I took out the trash, we had so much - we cleared out the garage. We now have an organized downstairs bedroom/office, laundry room and garage. We have been getting rid of stuff that's just been taking up space for years. Another garage sale in June and we will be clutter free. :) After that, Michael came over and we did a boot camp workout - tough one. I'm really liking these workouts, they are something different to add to my routine. Came inside and got showered and we then went out to dinner. Dinner was good, I was starving - feeding Olivia was a full time thing today - I could barely eat because she was being a little loud if I stopped to try and eat something. After dinner, we went to the mall to exchange a shirt I got and then to visit Dan. We then came home and got stuff ready for Friday. I put Olivia to bed and then crashed myself. Great day.

Wednesday, 21 May

Today was a really good day. After work I had an appointment with Early On for Olivia. They did an assessment of Olivia and she did wonderfully. They tested her in 7 areas and Olivia excelled in all of them. She is only 10 1/2 months old and she was testing out in the 13-18 month level. So we are so pleased and proud of her. The only area that we need to work more on with her is her vocabulary. We need to be reading to her more. So Jody was the lady that did the tests and she said we were doing a super job - which was so nice to hear. The appointment lasted about 1 1/2 hours so after that I put Olivia down for a nap and cleaned up a bit. Michael and Dan invited us over for dinner so all three of us went over there and had Salmon, it was delicous. We ate dinner then watched American Idol. Never really watched the show before so I wasn't sure who was going to win. After that, we came home and got stuff ready for Thursday. I'm beaming still from the good news, it's good to hear that we are making such strides with Olivia.

Tuesday, 20 May

Such a busy day.....Still tired from all the work I did the day before but had to get the dogs fed, Olivia up and ready, did some laundry and put the dishes away, made coffee (I got my travel mug all ready, put in the cream and sugar but forgot to put the coffee in and didn't realize it till I was on the road) so ended up stopping for Tim Horton's on the way. So dropped up Miss O and then did a cardio workout. Work was fine, busy. At lunch, I went to Best Buy to return my old XBOX 360 System but they said I had to mail it in and they would replace it (Microsoft) so called them and they are going to send me a box to have it returned. After lunch, finished my day - busy. Picked up Olivia early because we had a home visit with the agency. Sandra came by at 4:30 and we talked about how everything was going. It's going great and so it was a good visit. After she left, I put Olivia down for a nap and then Michael came over and we did a Boot Camp work out, man - it was tough. Sore. Kurt had a meeting at Pronto so he was gone from 5:30 to 7:00, after I finished my workout - I cooked dinner and got Olivia up. Fed her and then changed her. She wanted to play so we played for a while, walking and playing with blocks. I put her to bed around 8:30 then worked on cleaning up the dishes and a few other things. The day just flew by. After that, it was time for bed.

Monday, 19 May

Woke up with a headache and was tired but nothing I could do about it. Fed the animals then got Miss Olivia up and dressed. She wanted to sleep more - she slept in my arms for a bit before waking up. So cute. Dropped her off at Daycare and then did my cardio at the gym. Work was good, busy. At lunch, picked up the other two moon walk bouncy jumpers from Walmart that I ordered and then met Kurt for lunch. He was off work today because of his hand. We ate at Topz, and had turkey burgers. After lunch, finished my day and then picked up Olivia. We got home and I immediately started working on moving the furniture from the downstairs bedroom to the garage and then cleaned up the garage. The garage is so cleaned out now - You can actually park your car in there. :) I spent about 4 1/2 hours working on it. After getting it all cleaned out, I then cut the grass,edged and trimmed. I finished around 9:30 or so, came inside, finished the laundry and got ready for bed. OH, I did get Olivia ready for bed at 8:00 pm too - she is the love of my life, her giggling just makes me smile. It was a really nice and accomplishing day.

Sunday, 18 May

Got up, Ugh - darn cats woke me up, up at 6:00 am.... I need more sleep. Olivia was up early today but we had such a good morning. I let Kurt sleep in, his hand has been bothering him so the Dogs, Olivia and I drank coffee (Well I did) and played with a new toy we got her. She was so funny and her laughing made me laugh. Anyway - I got a call from Michael and they were going to Eastern Market so I got ready and went with them. I got 2 ferns and 1 wave petunia hanging basket. Got home, Kurt took Olivia grocery shopping and was making Sloppy Toms (like sloppy joes but with chicken). Everyone got cleaned up and then we headed out to Shelby Twp. to go to the funeral home for Dave's dad. We then went to Bordines Nursery and got a new fountain liner and water plants for the big pond. After that, got home and we had dinner. It was so good. After that, I worked on cleaning up the downstairs bedroom and the garage. It was a long night, I didn't get done till after 10:00 pm and by the time I got to bed it was after 11:00 pm. Got a lot accomplished this weekend so I feel pretty darn good.

Saturday, 17 May

So got home really late last night and not much sleep, the dogs and Olivia were up early. SO tried to get Olivia to fall back to sleep but she was up so we got up and had breakfast. I made her applesauce and oatmeal. She loved it. We played for a while, she was giggling. Kurt taught her to say Yeeeeaahhh! and when you say it, she claps. It's so cute. So after breakfast, she got sleepy again so I put her back to bed and then headed over to Michael and Dan's house for the garage sale. We had to move stuff out of the garage onto the drive way and at 8:00 am, it started. It ended up being a really good day and we made out pretty good at the garage sale. I sold about $360 worth of our old stuff and we cleared so much out of the laundry room. There is another garage sale in June and we are going to hopefully get rid of a lot more. We worked at the garage sale until about 2:30 pm (It started to rain) so after that, we went home, I fed Olivia and got her cleaned up then I got cleaned up (so did Kurt). We then went out to dinner with Michael and Dinner at Boodles. It was so good, we all ate so much but we deserved a really good dinner. I got Chicken Oscar, Kurt got a Chicken with Artichokes and asparague, Michael and Dan got steaks. SO good. After that, we were all in a carbohydrate coma so we went home and we played Scene It on our XBOX system for a little bit then that was it for the evening. I was tired... Olivia went to bed around 8:00 and she was out - out like a light. I have a video of her laughing, it makes me smile.

Friday, 16 May

Got up early, woke Miss Olivia up and got her dressed and ready for day care. Kurt was sleeping in, he had to work in the evening also. Fed the animals and took off for the gym. Did a good cardio workout and then got in to work. Work was okay, kind of a slow day but made the most of it. At lunch, I skipped the gym and went shopping, got Olivia a few outfits and some lunch from Panera. Finished my day and then picked up Olivia after work. We got home and I started getting stuff ready for the garage sale. I cleared out the laundry room, we can now walk around and even fold the clothes in there now. Michael came over and we started loading up the cars, we have so much stuff to sell. Hopefully we can get rid of most of it. If not, then we are going to donate it. So we worked on that garage sale stuff until 9:30 and then it was time to head home. Well, so I thought so until I got a call at 9:30 from a friend telling me that Kurt cut himself really bad and was at emergency. So I rushed to the hospital to see Kurt. His hand was slashed on his middle finger, it looked horrible. He dropped a glass and it sliced his middle finger really deep, it looks like a giant V on the inside of his hand. So we stayed with Kurt until he was all stitched up (16 stitches) and then he was released. We left around 12:30. Surprisingly, Olivia stayed awake, I tried to get to fall asleep but she wanted to play. We got home and put Olivia to bed and then went to sleep.

Thursday, 15 May

Today would have been Cole's 5th birthday. We miss you Cole. We think about you everyday. So today, we got up and did the regular routine. The gym was good, did a shoulder workout and cardio. Work has been good, keeping busy. After work gave Olivia her bath and got her cleaned up and dressed, she looked so cute in her new outfit. I wish I took some pictures, I will tomorrow. We met up with Mark and John for dinner at Anita's. It's such a good restaurant, and the staff there are so nice - It's my new favorite place. There is one waitress there that is just so nice and she remembers Olivia's name every time we go up there. Dinner was great and then Mark and I shared some cake. After dinner came home and put Olivia to bed, she was exhausted. I then got my stuff ready for Friday. It was another nice day.

Wednesday, 14 May

Today was a great day. I want to give "Props" to Kurt - he made plans for the evening, he arranged for a babysitter and we went to dinner and the movies. We saw "Baby Mamma" and it was really good, funny and a cute story. I was so happy to see Kurt put all the effort into the evening. The whole day was good, in the morning got Olivia up and dressed early and stopped for Tim Horton's coffee on the way - yeah, Tim Horton's. Work was good, went by fast. At lunch time went to Walmart to pick up a gift card for Mark and to pick up a toy I got for Olivia (I ordered it online). Finished my work day and then picked up Olivia. We went home and I started cleaning before the babysitter came over. Olivia was such a mess, so changed her real quick and did her hair - she looked so cute. Chelsea came over and Olivia was happy to see her, she was bouncing around and talking. It was so cute to see. We then left for our date night. It was a great night.

Tuesday, 13 May

Got up, ugh still tired. After dropping Olivia and going ot the gym, went to work - it was a good day. So busy today, I have been working on a project that has kept me crazy busy. At lunch time, I went to the gym and did a chest workout and then finished my day at work. Picked up Olivia and we then picked up take out for dinner later on. Got home and did some laundry and cleaned up the downstairs. We are having a garage sale on Saturday so starting to get ready for that. Kurt got home and we ate dinner. It was so good and healthy. After that, we got on our bikes and rode over to Michael's house and we then took a bike ride to get ice cream. Kurt's fault. He loves ice cream. After that, got home and fed Olivia before putting her to bed. It was a really nice day. I did cut the grass today too, from all the rain - the grass was so long. Monday, 12 May

It's Monday and back to work. Got up, slept really good and feel pretty darn good - so fed the animals then got Olivia up, she went to bed at 7:00 pm and slept for over 10 hours. Wow, she was tired. After getting her ready and dropping her off at daycare, went to the gym and did cardio. Goal is to start drinking a lot more water - so started that and ugh, forcing myself to drink water is not fun. Drank about 60 oz of water through the morning, felt water logged then went to the gym at lunch, did arms. :) Finished my day and then picked up Olivia. We got home and I had so many chores to do. So gave Olivia a bottle and started cleaning and vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes. Then started prepping up stuff for Tuesday. Kurt got home and he made us dinner, it was so delicious. It was a salad with grilled onions, asparagus and chicken on top with a fat free raspberry vinegarette. So good. We ate dinner and then fed Olivia her dinner. Changed her into her pajamas and we played for a bit. After that, put her to bed and then Kurt and I played some cards before going to bed as well. It was a very nice relaxing day.

Sunday, 11 May

Got up early this morning, couldn't sleep - missed Olivia too much so we got up and ready and headed out to Charlotte. We stopped for coffee on the way, I drove and made pretty good time. We got to the house around 9:30. It was so good to see Olivia, I just missed her so much. So played with her and walked around - it was a really nice visit. Fixed Mom's computer and played with Tahya and Avy. It was really nice, after that we headed home. I drove home and got half way before I was so tired and Kurt finished the drive. After getting home, I gave Olivia a bath and got her dressed, made bottles and cleaned up a bit. Did some laundry and then after that my brother came over. It was a really nice afternoon - we played video games and hung out. After that, Mark left and Kurt picked up Chinese food take out. We ate dinner and I got Olivia up from her nap and she ate too. After dinner, got stuff ready for Monday and pretty much went to bed really early. I was asleep by 9:00 pm - I was exhausted.

Saturday, 10 May

Got up and was going to go to the gym but all they had were cardio machines, they had a separate gym at their other hotel down the street. So instead I got coffee for everyone and went back to the room. Took a shower and then everyone else got ready and we did some shopping downtown. We got breakfast at the Bagel deli and then walked around for a bit doing some shopping. It was nice out but a little chilly. After that, back to the room, packed up and headed out of Chicago. Dan and I drove home, it was an okay drive. We stopped for lunch at KFC. Yum. After getting home, I got back in the car and picked up the dogs, the were so happy to be home. I then got back in the car and headed over to my brother's house for the card tournament. Played Texas Hold Em, it was fun but I didn't do very well. After cards, came home and pretty much went to bed. Kurt went out - but I was tired and had a headache. It was a great day - did and saw a lot in Chicago. :)

Friday, 8 May

So got up and showered, had some coffee, fed the dogs and got them ready for the Doggie Day Camp, got Kurt up and he took them to Siesta Lodge. After getting back, he got ready, I had cleaned up and had everything ready for our trip by the door. Mike and Dan got over right around 9:00 am, we were on the road by 9:30. It was a great trip, we had a lot of fun. We stopped for McDonalds for breakfast and it was so delicious... We made really good time, we stopped in New Buffalo at the Four Winds Casino. That was so much fun - we all won money, except Dan, we played for an hour or so then went to the Buffet, that was really good - I ate so much food and it was all delicious. After that, headed back on the road and we made it to Chicago around 4:00 pm. We got in and unpacked our stuff then headed out to see the city. We walked around for about 2 hours or so and the coolest thing happened, we ran into the cast of "The Biggest Loser" , they were signing books and so we got our picture taken with them. They were so nice. What a cool thing to happen. So we then left Mike and Dan to go back to the hotel to get cleaned up before the concert. The Dolly concert was so amazing, I wasn't really that excited about it, it was more for Kurt but I had the best time. She is such the entertainer. Phenominal - I love her. Great stories and she sang my favorite songs. So glad we went. After the concert, we met up with Dan and Mike and then headed out to some bars in Boystown. It was a lot of fun, got to see some friends from the area - Tony, Steve and Jim. We stayed out till about 1:30 or so and got back to the hotel at 2:00 am. We stopped and got pizza afterwards, yum, we were all starving. Then went to sleep.

Thursday, 8 May

So got up, slept really well so that's nice. I must have been tired because I only woke up once and that was 1 minute before my alarm went off. Olivia slept well too, she woke up with smiles. SO got her ready for daycare and took of for the day. Dropped her off and she was wide awake, she usually falls asleep in the car but today she was dancing and singing the entire ride. After that, did a good shoulder workout at the gym then got to work. Today should go by fast, I'm leaving a little early today. So I did leave at 3:00, picked up Olivia, rushed to get Olivia's invitations, got home and cleaned/dressed Olivia, got everything in the car, then headed off to pick up Kurt at work. So got him and we went to Fowlerville, met Mom and Dad for dinner then Olivia went off with them. :( She is spending the next couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa so Kurt and I can go to Chicago. After dinner, we came home got cleaned up then went up to Pronto! to hang out a little bit. We were not out very late, I was tired and a long day tomorrow. It was fun though.

Wednesday, 7 May

It's going to be another busy day, I have to take Olivia to get a skin culture at Beaumont this evening, pack a bag for her trip to grandma and grandpa's house, get the dog stuff ready for their little vacation to the Doggy Day Camp, clean house and lots of laundry. Gym was good, work was good...after work picked up Olivia and we had the worse experience at Beaumont, they kept sending us to different buildings for Olivia's skin culture. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting and still nothing, I left. We will go next week. Ugh. So got home and unloaded the dog food I got and Olivia too. Kurt was home already. I then made dinner, we ate - it was delicous. Our friend Corey came over for a visit, it was really good seeing him. We talked for a while, Kurt had to leave to help out Mark and John with a house project. So Corey talked for a while until Olivia fell asleep in my arms, so I put her to bed and then started packing her bag for Grandma and Grandpa's house. I got to bed around 10:00 pm or so, I was tired but not too bad.

Tuesday, 6 May

HAPPY 10 MONTHS TO OLIVIA. I can't believe she is 10 months old already, the time just flies by. So we started Olivia on the new medicine (anti-itch allergy medicine) and it seems to be working pretty good so far. The doctor said that it will take a little time for Olivia to not scratch because it's a habit now but she is doing really good. Got her up and she was all smiles, so got her dressed and we headed off to daycare. She was up the entire ride playing with her phone. She likes to mimic things so I was singing to her and she sang back. I did an arm workout at the gym, then got to work. Work was good - lots to do to keep me busy. At lunch did an AB workout, that was good. Finished my day and picked up Olivia on the way home. We had to rush home, feed the dogs and cats, get Olivia cleaned up and give her medicine then head out the door. We went to my parents house to see my youngest brother who is in town from California. Great seeing him. We got the best news ever.... MARK and NIKKI are expecting in December. It might even be twins, they have an ultrasound scheduled for next week. I'm so happy for them, they are going to make wonderful parents. Wow, how exciting.... That's a great Mother's Day gift. Mark and Nikki gave my mom a picture frame, really cute baby frame with the note in it - Reserve for Baby T Due December 2008. He told my parents first and I can't believe they were able to keep that secret until we each got to see the frame. Congrats to them. SO Shon, Tracy, Hudson, Ivy, Kurt, Olivia, My parents and I had pizza and salad and then the boys played Texas Hold'em. Well, guess what - I won. :) I won $20... I never win. I beat Shon in the final hand. After cards, it was getting late and Olivia was getting tired so got in the car and drove home. Put Olivia to bed, got some stuff ready for Wednesday and then worked on making a travel CD for our Chicago Trip. :)

Monday, 5 May

This is video of Olivia walking. She holds on to the back of her toy car and pushes it around. So cute. The first couple of times she did it, she would cry because she didn't know how to stop. It's so funny. She now has learned how to stop. Monday was a busy day, got up and did the daily stuff, gym, work. I brought Olivia home and put her down for a little bit, she was tired. I got a call from her Pediatrician to see if I could come in earlier, so got Olivia up and cleaned her up, changed her and we headed to the Dr.'s office. Traffic was horrible, got there 45 minutes earlier than our appointment though. So Olivia got prescribed a new allergy medication, it will help with the itching - so happy about that. Lisa and Amy told me about what they give to their son Camden (Adarax) and they said it really helped with his eczema. SO hopefully it does the same for Olivia. After the doctors, we went to CVS to get her prescription filled then came home. Kurt had made dinner - it was delicious, a seafood meal with rice noodles and vegetable. So good. After dinner, I cleaned up and Kurt went over to Mark and John's house to help out with a project. I was able to clean and play with Olivia at the same time, it was a game for her. :) Around 8:30, I put her down to bed and then finished up the laundry and made bottles. I was so wired that I had a hard time falling asleep, up most of the night - but I don't feel tired though.

Sunday, 4 May

Today was the nicest family day. I got up a little early and had coffee, read for a bit before Olivia and Kurt got up. I then got her up and got her all cleaned up and dressed, I had already taken a shower by then. Kurt then got up and we all went for a bike ride to Nello's to get breakfast. It was so nice, Olivia loves being on the bike. After breakfast we rode our bikes into town and visited with Marleen. Talked with her for a bit, Olivia fell asleep in my arms - she was tired so we rode our bikes back home and put Olivia to bed. She slept the entire bike ride home... too funny. Our friend Joe Hickey got Olivia the cutest little dress from Ralph Lauren. It's so adorable, so I put her in it and took some pictures. She looks so cute. Anyway, we then worked on the backyard. Kurt got the two big fountains running and we cleaned up all the leaves from the very back of the yard. It was so nice outside and we spent a good 3 hours cleaning up the yard. It's looking great. After that, we each had a turkey burger and baked chips for lunch, so yummy. We relaxed for a bit before heading over to Mike and Dan's house for Pre-Cinco De Mayo Dinner. Dinner was so good, Mike made steak and chicken fajitas and home made guacamole. I would have had 10 but I'm watching what I eat (Chicago in 5 days). After dinner, we had dessert and watched Cloverfield. Olivia was getting cranky so we went home and put her to bed, she was out. It was a very active day for her. Kurt and I played some cards then got ready for bed. It was a really nice weekend.

Saturday, 3 May

Got up and fed the animals then went back to bed for a little bit longer. I got up around 8:00 am, it was a little cold outside and it started to rain for a bit, not too long - by the afternoon it was sunny outside and warm. Ran a few errands, got new lightbulbs for the outside lights and installed them. After it finished raining, I cut the front yard and then worked on the back yard for a bit. Olivia was with me, she was in her walker. For lunch we had salads and Olivia had macaroni. After lunch, we went to Target and then picked up a couple of movies. All three of us chilled out for a little bit, Olivia was walking around and we watched some TV. In the evening, Mark and John came over to watch the movie "Hitman", it was pretty good - liked it a lot. After the movie, I was so tired - went to bed. I think the weather being cold and rainy in the morning made me a little blue but once it stopped, it was beautiful outside and I picked up a bit.

Friday, 2 May

Good Morning and Hello Weekend. It was a great day today. I got up, feeling a little tired but made it to the gym. Olivia was tired and she didn't want to get up, she slept in the car all the way to the Day Care and she didn't even wake up when I brought her inside. I went to work for a bit but had to leave a little before lunch to go to the doctors. Once again, I have MRSA. I talked to my doctor and he said that I probably wasn't on the antibiotics long enough and that the MRSA cleared up but didn't completely go away. So he got me back on the antibiotics. I found out that I also have an infection that due to the other antibiotics that I took - that's the reason I have been so tired and issues with the bathroom for the last month. SO hopefully everything gets taken care of, I'm glad I went in to the doctor because now, it can be cleared up right away and I won't have to go through the pain that I did last time. After the doctors I came back to work finished my day and then picked up Olivia. We went home and she slept most of the time, she had been scratching herself all day at daycare and her hands were all cut up as well as some scratches on her face. Poor thing. I called her pediatrician and she prescribed allergy medication that will help her not itch and help with her breathing. Poor thing. I hate seeing her not feeling well. Okay, so came home and put Olivia down to sleep, cleaned up the house a bit, fed the animals then I got cleaned up. We had a play date today with Camden, Amy and Lisa. I got Olivia up and cleaned, dressed. Kurt got home but had to leave within minutes to go to Pronto! Olivia and I went to CVS to get the prescriptions and then picked up the best desserts at this bakery by our house. Never been there before but it's so good, and will be going back. We then went to Lisa and Amy's house (Camden too). They are so nice, we had such a fantastic time. Olivia played with Camden while the grown ups talked. They live only two streets over. We had pizza and salad and then dessert aftewards. We stayed till about 9 pm then it was time for Olivia to go to bed. Put Olivia in her pajamas and then put her to bed, she was exhausted. I then played Grand Theft Auto for a bit but was tired so watched a movie with the dogs and fell asleep.

Thursday, May 1

It's May. So happy that it's almost the weekend. I slept pretty good last night. Got up, fed the dogs/cats then got Olivia up. She did not want to wake up. She eventually woke up and I walked with her - she loves to wave at herself in the mirror. Makes me laugh. So got her cleaned up and changed. Her skin looks a lot better today. So got her ready then made lunches, coffee and was out the door. Dropped her off and then went to the gym, did cardio - I wish I had more energy on the elliptical but I was tired after 25 minutes. I decided to do abs instead. Finished at the gym then got to work, it's a good day - busy. Lunchtime did a chest workout. Finished my day at work then got Olivia. Miss Smiles was so happy to see me, I was just as happy. Got her home, I gave her my old cell phone - not sure why but she loves to play with it. It keeps her occupied. While she was playing with that, folded the laundry and then organized Olivia's closet. Put away a bunch of outgrown stuff and organized everything. Kurt got home while I was still doing that. So he took out the garbage and I got stuff ready for Friday. I then made dinner, it was so good - macaroni and cheese with turkey. It was seasoned really well. After dinner, cleaned up and then put Olivia down for a little nap. Played the video game for a bit then got Olivia up. Gave her a bath, got her all cleaned up and then we walked for a while, played downstairs with Kurt then got her to bed. She was so cute with her chit chat. She had something important to say and was fun watching her express herself. After that, got my stuff ready for Friday and watched some TV in bed.
