Sunday morning... Ugh, I was so feeling it. Never again - I say that everytime but I think the last time I was drunk was about 6 years ago... so it's very infrequent that I get like this. So woke up with a bad hang over - actually I woke up to people jumping on the bed telling me to get up. Michael and Dan wanted to go to the gym, I was not up for that so instead I got up and we all went out for coffee. Then we came back and I made breakfast, Turkey bacon, omlettes and biscuits. So yummy and hit the spot. So for the rest of the day, M & D did their thing and I got up, showered, then went and got my oil changed (finally), went to the dollar store and Halloween store, bought some great stuff. After that, went to the house and met up with Kurt. We went on an adventure to get some more tile for the project he was working on. We went to the East side to several Home Depots to get the tile but on the way we stopped at a Checkers and I got two big Buffords with Bacon (I was starving), Kurt got Chicken tenders. It was delicious. After our afternoon adventure, I cleaned up the house for a few hours while Kurt worked on the fireplace/tile project. It's looking really good, I'm really impressed with what he is doing. I will post some pictures soon. Kurt got cleaned up and I picked up my stuff at Michael and Dan's house then picked up Kurt and we went to a BBQ at Ron's house. It was so nice, got to see Jim, Jared and Ron. The food was so good, delicious... He had BBQ Ribs and Chicken, potatoes, pasta salad and corn on the cob - so yummy. After that, headed home and pretty much got ready for Monday. It was a really nice weekend.

Got up, and ended up taking Mason for a walk and we walked up to 7-11 and got some coffee for me. It was a nice walk, Mason was happy - Dan ended up picking me up and we then went to Starbucks to get him some coffee. Came back to the house and I made breakfast for everyone. Mason (Black Lab) is my buddy - he would not leave my side - I think it's because I give him so many snacks. So after breakfast, Michael and Dan went to the Science Center and I got cleaned up, watched a little TV then went and visited with Kurt and the cats/dogs. I miss them terribly so it was good to play with Mocha and Riley, I had both cats in my lap and both dogs by my feet. After that, went back to M & D, and we ended up going to Pronto for the evening. Kurt was working that night there so it was a lot of fun. We first ate dinner, then I had way too many drinks. Had a blast though, saw Frank and John, Mark and John, Chris, Tony, Jen & Kandy, Steve and Eddie - it's been a while since I have been up there so it was a blast. I did go over my limit but I hardly ever cut loose. So after that, went to Burger King and got a burger, and then passed out. I wasn't feeling the greatest at that point, so I went to bed (3:30 am) and didn't wake up till 9:00 am.

I wish it were Friday already.... Got up and did a half effort of a workout. I'm tired but still managed to workout. After the gym got to work - just didn't feel like being there. Drank quite a bit of coffee, starving - ate a granola bar. Had meetings all day long and some training (Boring) but had to do it. At lunch, went to the gym, then had lunch. I had more meetings after that, ended up leaving a little early because my meeting ended early. On the way home stopped and chatted with Dan, he has the week off. Hung out with Mason, such a good dog. Then went home, fed the animals and then started the staining of the new mantel addition Kurt has been working on. Got it all taped up and the first coat of stain on. After that, watched some TV and played with the cats. After that, went grocery shopping - got more green beans for Mocha, wet dog food for Riley and other food for the house. Watched Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy and E.R. - All were really good.

Mid-Week....It's been a tough week but I'm getting through it. Got up and got to the gym, only did 1/2 hour of cardio and then did some Abs and shoulders. Work was okay, working on some new projects. At lunch, I had Holey Moley's with Dan at Rio Wraps. It was so good. Finished up the day then headed home. On the way home, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up perogies and turkey polish sausage. I made dinner today - it was really good. After dinner, I cleaned up a bit and played with the animals. The weather is kind of lousy but we need the rain. I have a new favorite song - Remake of Cisco's "Hot in Hereee" by Jenny Owen Youngs. Much more tired this morning then before. I did fall asleep early (I missed Heroes) but woke up several times through the night. So got up, got dressed for the gym, fed the animals, got lunches ready, made coffee and then headed out. I only did 30 minutes of cardio this morning but did abs too. Work was okay - busy with report splitting. At lunch, gym again - did Arms and boy are they sore. I'm trying to add additional weight, and it was tough. So finished my day at work, which was good...came home and started working on the yard before it rains. I cut the front and back yard, cleaned out the shed and then put away all of the far backyard furniture. Starting early for Winter clean-up. That took me about two hours, so after that came inside and gave both dogs baths (they were stinky). Made some turkey hot dogs for me and Kurt had 2 hoagies. Ate and then I watched TV downstairs. M & D came over to see the fire place Kurt has been working on and we had ice cream too. After that, I pretty much fell asleep. Long day.. I was tired.

Another day, another dollar. I got up, let out Mason then headed to the gym. I so needed some coffee so stopped at Tim Horton's at picked up some on the way out. Gym was good, did over an hour of cardio then got to the office. Today - it was a little slow, maybe because I just felt out of it. Plus I didn't bring a lunch so I was starved all day. At lunch, went to the gym and did a back workout. Pushed myself so I felt sore. After the gym, finished my day at the office (so hungry) . After work, headed home - there was a really bad accident so it took me forever to get home. I had all of my stuff in the car so it took a while to unload it all - but finally got it all in. I cleaned up for a while, happy to see all the animals. Mocha went a little crazy, she missed me :) After that, did some laundry and then chilled out for a bit. Kurt had made some dinner, so we ate that and watch some TV. Little akward. After that, read for a bit and then went to sleep. I had all the animals in bed with me, I was squished but it was still nice.

Sunday morning.. Got up and made breakfast for everyone. It was delicious, Egyptian eggs and bacon.. yummy. I made some breakfast for Mason too, he has become my BDF Best Dog Friend... well, except for Mocha and Riley of course. So after that, took Mason for a long walk - he was so well behaved. Came back and got cleaned up. Then went to Target and got a few things, great sale on shorts and polo shirts and I got a pair of cords for only $15.00. Great bargains. I bought 4 bags of M & M's and Hershey Kisses - they have Carmel and candy corn flavor. I also got Family Guy season 5... so funny. We watched that for a while and had some snacks. Kurt came over for a bit and brought some appetizers. We watched TV and ate that. After that, I felt nauseous from all the sweets so Michael and I went for a run around the neighborhood - came home and watched the Simpsons/Family Guy and then went to bed. I was exhasuted. Long day... long weekend.

Saturday morning... Woke up with Mason, such a good dog. Michael, Dan and I went to the gym, we did an hour of cardio then some abs. After that, came home and we all got cleaned up and then headed out for breakfast. We went to Jimmies, it was actually lunch by the time we got their. We each got salads, saw Tony from the gym there. Lunch was good - I got a Greek Salad. After lunch, we headed out to some fish stores in Garden City, far far away. Went to two stores and then came back - I got a headache from being a little car sick. I stopped by the house to visit with the dogs/cats and picked up a few things. Then came back to M & D's place. I helped cut the grass and cut up some big branches that fell. Michael's parents stopped over so I got to meet them. I then gave Mason a bath, he was a little stinky. That dog followed me around everywhere, I think it was because I gave him lots of treats. After that, got cleaned up again and I met Kurt for some coffee. Talked for a bit then I went out to see Mega 80's - it's an 80's cover band that played at the Magic bag. Out late late late. Came home and fell asleep quickly. End of another work week. Well - today didn't go as I expected it to. Being Friday - it should have been a really good day - start of the weekend, some fun activities planned and maybe even catching up on some sleep. But that didn't happen this weekend. Spent most of the weekend away - trying to take some time and space to decide what's important and if things can be worked out. Don't have much to say about that - just trying to keep on, keeping on. So tired this morning, I did skip the gym and slept in for an additional hour... So got ready for work and made it to the office before 7:00 pm. I had a couple cups of coffee at home and at work so hopefully the caffeine will keep me alert. Still really busy at work. At lunch time - went to the gym with a friend and we did a Shoulder workout. I pushed myself so I'm sure I will be sore tomorrow. Got back to work, had my lunch and then finished the rest of my day. After work, went grocery shopping to make Brocolli Salad for Kurt and then returned some movies at Blockbuster. Got home, fed the animals, then made the brocolli salad - it's delicious. Took out the garbage and put it all on the curb for tomorrow's pick-up. There is a problem with one of the fountains, it keeps blowing a fuse so it's off right now. Played ball with the dogs, the love playing fetch... they get so excited. I then got cleaned up and picked up Todd to go out for dinner. He hurt his food (too much running) and is in a foot mobilizer. He looks like he is wearing moon boots. We went to dinner at The Fly Trap. We both got the veggie burgers, so yummy. Todd paid (Thanks for dinner Todd). After that, I dropped him off then met up with M & D at the movies - they had free tickets for the sneak preview of Resident Evil 3. It was pretty good, I really like Milla Jovovich. Got home around 9:30, laid with the dogs and cats - gave them lots of attention. Then went to bed... had a hard time falling asleep - too much caffeine at dinner.

I slept so well last night. Even though I had a diet coke late at night, I was out and slept through the night. Got up, did the daily stuff - fed the animals, made lunches, made coffee then headed out to the gym. Did another 8 1/2 miles this morning, I did my cardio while watching a movie called "Broken English" with Parker Posey... Really good movie, I love that actress. So got to work and the day was fine - busy and it flew by. Oh - Dick won "Big Brother 8" - which is cool, I liked that show but now it's over.... Anyway - work good, at lunch I did a arm workout - pushed myself so I'm feeling it now. After work, came home and cut the grass and closed one of the fountains down. The yard looks good even though we haven't had rain in a week or so - trying to cut back on the sprinkler use (big water bill). I cleaned out the garage too - well organized it. Then came inside and made dinner, marinated pork with rice and brocolli. It was yummy. We ate dinner and then we did something spontaneous. We went to Canada for a midweek adventure. Had a lot of fun, but now I'm tired.... got home around midnight, way past my bedtime.

Kurt comes home today. Happy about that. Got up and fed the animals, had some coffee and off to the gym. Regular schedule.... got to work and the day flew by - going to be working on this project for a while. At lunch, did a good Ab workout - 1600 sit-ups in an hour. Sore. Finished my day at the office and came home. Cooked up some dinner before Kurt got home. Kurt got home, he unpacked his bags and then we ate. Dinner was good - I made a tuna casserole (sounds boring and gross but it was really tastey). After that, we went and saw the new Jodie Foster movie "The Brave One". What a terrific money, it's one of the best movies I have seen this year. The movie was a little over 2 hours long and we didn't get home till about 9:30. So got home and pretty much went to bed. What a fun night.

New week and Fall begins on Saturday - man, Summer flew by so quickly. So Monday, got up and went to the gym. Did 8 1/2 miles for my cardio, felt good - I went to bed early so I had plenty of energy. The dogs completely hogged the bed so I was stuck on one little side but I actually did sleep well. Riley was cracking me up because he must of had a dream he was running because all of a sudden he was moving his legs really fast and when I touched his head he jumped.. Anyway - after the gym, got to work and started a big project. We are separating a big department into it's own company and I have to go through a large number of reports and change Logo's and names on the reports as well as it's database connections. That's going to take a while. So work is good, workout at lunch was good, then came back to the office and finished my day. After work, came home and started to clean. Cleaned from top to bottom so that Kurt would come home to an emaculate house... Well - as clean as I could make it. After that, went over to Michael's house and we had dinner then went to the mall to do a little shopping. Got some great deals on shoes, bought 2 pair for me and one for Kurt. Great sales. We hung out with Dan (he was working). There was a really cool display at the mall, they had outfits from movies being displayed - really cool stuff from movies like: Evita, Victor/Victoria, The Presteige... So after shopping came home and got ready for Monday - then went to bed. So tired.. I fell asleep immediately.

Got up around 7:30, fed the dogs and cats then went back to bed for another 1 1/2 hours. It was so nice to sleep in. Then got up and Szanto was up watching some TV, so I made him breakfast (Egyptian Eggs and bananas) while he watched TV in bed. We watched "Flushed Away" and ate. It was a nice morning. We then took the dogs for a walk to the park in Pleasant Ridge - we went for about a 2 mile walk and at the park, Szanto played on the playground - it's a really nice school and a great play area. He really liked that. After that, we walked back home - the dogs were very tired. Got home and relaxed for a bit. I made some healthy snacks for Szanto and we played old maid and sorry. For lunch, we had baked fries and hot dogs, he really liked that. After our late lunch, I had to get cleaned up and it was just about time for Szanto to go home. We went to the store and got more dog food and when we got home, Szanto fed the dogs and cats then it was time to leave. I dropped him off - he was sad that he had to leave and I was sad to see him go. Great weekend though. I came home and cleaned up, did some laundry and then picked up Michael. We got some coffee and chatted for a bit. Dan got home from work, we went up to blockbuster to rent a movie, came back to their house and Michael made dinner. It was so nice to have dinner cooked for me. We watched Blade and at dinner then watched the Emmys. I left around 9 - came home, packed my gym bag and lunch then went to bed. I was out within 15 minutes. Great weekend. Kurt is having a good time in Washington, miss him a lot.

Got so little sleep last night, didn't fall asleep till about 4 and was up before 8:00 am. Got up and fed the animals then started cleaning. Cleaned the kitty litter, dog messes, vacuumed the house, dusted and cleaned up the kitchen/bathrooms really good. Then headed out and went grocery shopping, went to the new grocery store by the house - Farm Fresh, it was really nice. Not busy and great deals. Spent a lot of money on lunch stuff and kids food. Got home, unpacked and then we headed out to pick up Szanto. Got him then went up to Pronto for breakfast (It's our tradition now). We had breakfast with Michael and Dan. Szanto got the chocolate chip pancakes, it was delicious but so sweet. The rest of us got Omlettes. Delicious too. After breakfast, Kurt got his hair cut while Szanto and I went to Barnes and Nobles and got him a book. He is such a good reader, trying to encourage that. We then went to Old Navy and got him some shirts and a few other things. Then we came home, I made lunches for us to take to the Zoo, Kurt had to fly out to Washington for work - so Michael went with Szanto and I to the zoo. It was busy but the weather was perfect for the animals to be out. We walked all around the zoo for about 3 hours, it was a lot of fun. Saw a lot - it was the first time to the zoo for Szanto, in the beginning he was more concerned about eating his Strawberry pop-tart then the animals but after we ate - he was all about seeing the animals. He also made wishes in the fountain (his came true...he wished for 2 dollars, and he actually found $3 by the wart hog exhibit - after that, all he wanted to do was throw money in the fountains to make wishes...) After the zoo, we dropped off Michael then came home. It was around 6:00 pm, so we went up to Blockbuster and rented some movies then came home and he watched the Sponge Bob Movie while I cooked dinner. We ate dinner then watched the rest of our movie. At 9:00 pm, he had to go to bed, just before that Todd and his brother from Atlanta came over for a visit. We hung out for a bit and chatted, just before 10 they left and I fell asleep on the couch. Woke up around 1:00 am and headed to bed. Busy day but so tired from it.

It's Friday.... I'm so glad it's almost the weekend - I need to catch up on some sleep. So got up this morning, tired, grumpy but still made it to the gym. Did an hour of cardio while watching the movie - D.O.A, it's really bad - about these Women Fighters... At lunch time, did a shouler workout - my shoulders and back are really sore now. I had left over Thai food for lunch, yum. Finished my day at work, ahhhh.... the weekend. So got home, fed the animals then paid some bills, ran to CVS to get my prescription, bought a few Fall/Halloween items then came home. I was tired so I laid down for a bit after that. Kurt got home and were going to head over to Todd's to meet his brother but they went out to dinner, so we grabbed some coffee and then hung out at M & D house. We then went to GC and hung out with Kerrin, Shawn Ray & Jon. Was so much fun, but out way too late. I'm an early bird. Really fun evening though.

Thursday already - Wow. Got up this morning and felt pretty good. At the gym, I ran 8 miles. Feel really good about that. Day should be good - I have lots to do and I'm having lunch with Mikey. Got a good chest workout and then had lunch with Michael. We had Burritos, so yummy. After lunch, came back to work and finished my day. Little frustrated with some reports I'm working on, having issues with upgrading them to a newer version of the software I develop with. So after work, came home - fed the babies then had to head out to get my hair cut. I like it shorter, so I'm happy with it. I came home and cut the front yard, edged and trimmed. Played ball with the dogs for a while, they were having fun. Then came inside and got changed, Kurt and I had dinner with Michael and Dan. After dinner, we hung out for a bit at Pronto, saw Kerrin, John, Derek, Tim and others up there. Didn't stay out to late, early morning and I was getting tired.

Mid week already. Got up, it's so cold outside. It was only 51 (which is not that cold but still cold for now). Got to the gym, did not do my cardio as hard as I should have - I have to get another book to read. So I did that then got to work. At lunch time, I went to Sears to take my camera back because it's broken and they were terrible there, we called Sears last night and they said to just bring in the Camera to the store but at the store said there was nothing they could do - luckily though, there is a manufacturers warranty and I called Casio and they told me to send it to them and they would fix it or replace it. Finished my day at work, came home and fed the animals then went outside for 3 hours trimming the bushes and trees, they look really good. Came in, vacuumed and cleaned the kitchen then got cleaned up. I met up with Bonnie for dinner. I love her, she is so sweet - had a wonderful conversation with her - she really is a good friend. After dinner, hung out with Michael and Dan, we watched Last Comic Standing and according to Jim. Kurt was at his party until 10:30. So I went home then and pretty much fell asleep.

Got up and felt pretty good, I thought I would be tired or groggy - I took some PM aspirins and they usually make me feel a little sleepy but I woke up energized. Got to the gym and ran almost 8 miles. Work was okay, not too much going on so nothing to complain about. At the gym, I did a arm workout and it was a goof one. I ate my lunch afterwards and it wasn't enough food - I was starving after that. Finished my day and came home. It's really gray outside but managed to start trimming one of the trees in back and some of the tall grasses. I will have to do the other tree tomorrow (it started to rain). Kurt got home and we headed out to meet Todd, Jack, Mark and Dawn for dinner at Rexy's. Well - not so good - First, the waitress spilled an entire glass of water on me and the glass broke and cut my hand. Well, I didn't make a big deal about it - but thought she would probably comp. my meal - nope, nothing. I left with soaking wet pants on... Oh well. Got home and we watched Big Brother (last week of it). Then fell asleep pretty much right afterwards.

New week, hopefully this will go by just as fast as last week. Got up and went to the gym, did my cardio - 7 1/2 miles. I actually felt energized, getting more sleep than ever. Went to work, morning started out well - and busy so it flew by. At lunch time, I did a back workout - felt good, missed my back workout last week. Ate my lunch - not enough food, I was starving. Finished up my day and got out on time. Took side streets home and made it home really fast. Fed the cats & dogs, they were happy and then read for a bit. It was nice to come home and relax. Kurt got home and we chilled out for a bit. Today - it's been 2 years since Cole passed away so trying to just things light. We went over to Todd and Chris's house for a little bit but didn't have much to say, just not really feeling up to being social. So we went home and picked up some take out on the way. It's hard trying to be happy all the time..... After eating, just watched The Closer and went to bed.

I slept in until 9:00 am, I never do that and I didn't wake up once. I was really tired and I can't believe the dogs actually let me sleep too. So got up and made some coffee then read for a little bit. I actually hung out on the bunk bed with the cats, they think that's their bed. I then took a shower and did some laundry. Kurt got a bunch of vegetables from his parents so I cut up the squash and put it in the freezer and with the tomatoes, peppers and onions from Mrs. King, I made salsa and spaghetti sauce. We had Michael and Dan over for lunch - I made spaghetti and garlic bread and squash. I wasn't very happy about it, I added turkey to it and it tasted a lot better before that. So ate lunch, then played some video games. That was fun, I was feeling a little tired and actually fell asleep while they played the games. After that, Kurt and I went to the moves and saw "Superbad" it was pretty funny in the dumb kind of way. Saw that, had popcorn and soda then came home. It was almost 7:00 pm when we got home. We watched some TV and relaxed for the rest of the evening. Got everything ready for Monday, packed lunches and got my gym bag packed. After that, went to bed and got a good night sleep. Tomorrow it will be 2 years since Cole passed away, I miss him so much and our family.

Got up early.... no sleep but plenty of energy to go get some Tim Horton's coffee. Was going to go to Meijer's but decided against it and just wait to other stores are open. Did fill up my gas tank though. So - got home and started cleaning the house, vacuumed and dusted everything, did laundry, cleaned the kitty litter and dog messes outside, got it all cleaned up. Then showered and headed out to pick up Szanto. Picked him up and took him out to breakfast. We went to Pronto!, had a really good but sweet breakfast. I had apple and cherry pancakes with carmel topping & Szanto had blueberry pancakes. I can not believe how much that little guy can eat. After breakfast, we went back to the house and showed him the bedset. He really liked it. Then we picked up Michael and Dan. We went to Plymouth for the Fall Festival. What a fun afternoon. The weather was perfect...warm and sunny. Took Szanto on the rides, of course he wanted to go on the rides that would make me sick. We went on one ride that swung back and forth until it went all away around in a circle. I had my eyes closed the entire time to prevent myself from getting sick...didn't work. After the rides, we had lunch and spent time with my parents. My mom is so sweet - she was so excited to meet Szanto. She had buttons made of us. After that, we walked around town and played some of the carnival games - Szanto won a big Tiger sutffed animal and a blow-up sword. He was having fun. After spending the afternoon there, we headed home but stopped at Target on the way to pick up some sheets and a bedspread. Szanto picked out the Sponge Bob Square Pants style. We then got home and it was time for Szanto to relax for a bit, so I made his bed and he laid down with the cats while I cleaned up a bit and made dinner. We ate then took the dogs for a little walk and then it was time to drop him off. Kurt got home right before that and went with us. We got home and chilled out for a bit. Got cleaned up and Michael picked us up to go to a party. The party at first seemed a little odd - it had a theme that we didn't know about. "Hedwig and the angry inch". Had fun though because we knew a lot of people there. Stayed for a few hours then headed home. I was exhausted and was really looking forward to getting a good night sleep.

It's Friday..... Got up late - slept in till about 6:00 pm then got showered and headed out. I was actually a little late getting into the office. My day started really good though, had a busy morning and didn't even realize it was time for lunch until I looked at my clock. Went to the gym and did cardio - since I missed in the morning. I did only 45 minutes, had to shower and get back to the office. Finished my day and headed home. Kurt headed out to Grand Rapids to see his Grandparents. He left around 2:00 pm and got there around 5:30 or so. It had been raining all day and was still raining when I got home. Dan was nice enough to stay at the house in the morning for the bedroom set delivery. So I got home and started moving things around, I ended up cleaning the room for a couple of hours, trying to organize everything. I went to dinner with Michael and Dan to a greek place in Birmingham, and after that I came home and worked till about 1:00 am getting all of the office stuff out of the bedroom and organizing everything. It looks really cute, I need to get some sheets/comforter for the beds but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Slept much better last night, I think it was the long walk with the dogs before bed and the fact that I was exhausted from lack of sleep the night before. Got up, did the cardio - about half way done with my new book.... have to go find something new to read for next week. Work - little slow, converting some old report formats all morning. At lunch time, did a shoulder workout - I'm sore now but that's good I guess. Finished my day at work then came home. I fed the animals, Finnegan is acting weird about his food, doesn't eat it all - I think he doesn't like the seafood or beef dinners. After that, cut the grass, from the rain - it got really long. So did that and put all the trash at the curb. Kurt got home just as I was finishing up. Fed the fish and then came inside. Got cleaned up and we went out to dinner. We ate really healthy - side salads with chicken and just vinegar/lemon for dressing. After dinner, we hung out for a bit - Kerrin & Jaadi came out, it was a lot of fun - stayed out way too late. We came home around midnight - there was not way I was going to the gym in the morning.

Already mid-week. I'm very excited about that. Got up and did the gym thing - it's so much nicer doing cardio when I have a good book to read. The time flies by. So did that then got to work, lots to do - out for 5 days... At lunch time, did an arm workout - I'm a little stiff from Yoga yesterday so I was really trying to push myself on the weights. Got back to work and the afternoon is flying by. After work, stopped at Home Depot and got some more stain, then headed home. I did the second coat of stain and then worked on dinner. Made a Chicken and Broccoli dinner again - it's so yummy and healthy. After that, cleaned a bit around the house. We then took the dogs for a walk, we met up with Dan and Michael and they brought their dog Mason. We went to the DQ but didn't get any ice cream, trying to be healthy and no snacking. So instead we got a crystal light slurpee from 7-Eleven. We walked back, got in around 9:30 pm. So the stain had dried so I started putting everything back in the room. It looks good but I think we will need to have it professionally done - I should have sanded more.

Jury Duty today. Got up early and went to the gym with Michael - we did an hour of cardio. I felt good about that, after that went home and showered. Headed down town. Big mistake - I could have just called in and found out that I wasn't needed today instead I wasted my morning. So came home, stopped at Home Depot on the way and got some stain and paint brush, and a sander. I wanted to stain the bedroom floor - we have been talking about going darker on the floors. So started that project, got everything out of the bedroom and then cleaned the floors really good, sanded them down and cleaned them again. I took a break and went to lunch with Michael - we went to a vegan restaurant. It was good, we had salads. After that, came home and started staining. I love the color, it's a dark red mahogany. I got the first coat done around 3:30 pm. After that, cleaned up for a bit then made dinner. Chicken and Broccoli. It was yummy. We had yoga from 6:15 to 7:30 - it was really good and tough. Haven't been to yoga in a long time and Kurt never has. Michelle is a really good instructor. After that, came home and I started a second coat of stain but I ran out. Watched a little tv then went to bed.

Got Up Early today - fed the animals and then went to the gym with Michael. We did an hour of cardio, after that - dropped him off then came home and got cleaned up. We are going to run some errands today and maybe go to the Pontiac - Arts. Eats and Beats festival.

We ended up getting some lunch - we ate real healthy, side salad with chicken breast and for dressing - vinegar and lemon. We then went shopping for a few things around the house, some new place mats for the kitchen counter, new soap dispenser, and a new candle holder for the mantel. We went to a few stores then went to visit Dan at work. Got some coffee then came home. Relaxed for a bit, I then made us a healthy early dinner - tuna roll-ups with fat free cottage cheese instead of mayonaisse. It was pretty tastey. I then cleaned the kitty liter and the dog messes outside, watered the plants outside and cleaned the kitchen. After that, we went over to Mark and John's house to watch a movie. Year of the Dog with Molly Shannon. Horrible movie, sad then it got crazy - so I went outside and played with the dogs for most of the movie. After that movie, we went home and watched "The Closer". Such a good show, Kurt made dinner and we called it a night.

Woke up with another headache... Ugh. Been getting these crappy headaches a lot lately. It's the weather, darn sinuses. So got up and read for a while, finished my book. It was really good and just started the new one. After a bit, I had some coffee and made us breakfast. I made us omlettes - really tasty. After breakfast, we each had some errands to take care of so we did that. Kurt made salads for a BBQ we had with Mark and John, I went to the $1 store, Old Navy and Blockbuster. Got some new gym stuff. After that, came home and Kurt got home by then. I talked to Bonnie and Michelle and they were going to be in the area, so they came over and we all went to the BBQ. We were there for a bit, then I had to leave to go let Mikey out (Todd's dog), he is such a good dog, so well behaved and sweet. Played with him for a bit then came back out. Mark grilled and we all chatted - It was Mark, John, Randy, John, Kurt, Me, Joel, Jason, Bonnie and Michelle. Kurt made 2 fantastic salads, everyone talked about how good they were. So we ate, then my head started to hurt really bad so I left - I was just planning on going home for a bit till my headache went away but ended up leaving for the rest of the day. I came home and laid down and watched a movie. Around 9:30 Kurt, Michael and Dan came over and we hung out for a bit. We watched a really bad scary movie then that was it for the evening.

Got up, wanted to sleep in but I was awake - well, the cats/dogs woke me up. So got up and fed the beasts then made some coffee, read for a bit then decided to clean up. We had an all day visit with Szanto today, really looking forward to that. So got the house clean, then picked him up at 10:00 am. We got some McDonald's take out then came home, Kurt, Szanto and I ate. It was delicious. We then gave Szanto a tour of the house, had him meet the dogs & cats (he loves animals). After that, we went to the movies and saw "Balls of Fury" - it was really funny. We pigged out on popcorn and snacks. Following the movie, we went to Meijer and Szanto picked out a new school bag, lunch box, thermos and a few school supplies. He was so excited - he went with the Pirates of The Carribbean theme. We came back to the house and played on the XBOX 360, lots of race car driving games and Kurt made lunch - Grilled Cheese sandwiches. We played for a while then went to the store and looked at a few things. It was then time to take him home. It was a really nice afternoon. After that, I came home and laid down for a bit, had a sinus headache that had started. So laid down for a while then met up with Mark and John for a bit. Didn't stay out late again, really tired and a bad headache.
