Sunday, 6 December

Seriously - How cute is Olivia. This is her picture with Santa. We got up and got ready. Had to run to the store to get a birthday gift for Spencer. We had his birthday party today. It was so much fun. Got to see Elina, Letha, Suzanne, Stephanie, Sandy, DJ.... just really nice hanging out with everyone. The party was so nice. Olivia had a blast. Lots of kids for her to play with. The theme was Spiderman and it was very cute. After the party, came home - Kurt worked on the bathroom. At 3 am in the morning (the night before) he went to the bathroom and was holding on to the cabinet that is mounted above the toilet - well, he lost balance and ended up pulling it off the wall. Big mess. So when we were at the party, Kurt was cleaning it up, re-painting and putting it back on the wall. Took him all day. So he worked on that while Olivia napped. I did some laundry and made us dinner. In the evening, we got Olivia's tent out and played with her, did the parachute game and played Uno-Moo. It was a really nice family night.

Saturday, 5 December

Had class in the morning. Turned in my exam. The class is going really well, only 2 more weeks to go. After class, picked up Olivia (Kurt was with her), I took her to the grocery store and then we came home and made lunch. Olivia was in a really good mood. All three of us went to Target and then came home and watched a movie while Olivia napped. Joel had his party but unfortunately I couldn't go. Kurt went. I'm sad over that. Ugh. But I did get some left overs, and it was delicious.

Friday, 4 December

We got up early this morning, got cleaned up and dressed - then headed out to the mall to go see Santa. Unfortunately Santa wasn't available until noon. So instead, we walked around the mall for a bit then got a cinnamon roll from Cinnabun. After that, came home. Fed Olivia some lunch then I headed out for a bit. Kurt watched Olivia. We went back to the mall later on in the day. Olivia got to ride the Train again. She did so good with Santa. No tears, just a big smile. She looked so cute. Here are some pitures from the train and the rides outside of it. After seeing Santa, came home and had a nice relaxing evening.

Thursday, 3 December

Really busy day. Exhausted.....now. Lots of running around to do, errands, stuff around the house, cleaning, cooking, etc. After tackling my list of things to complete, Olivia and I had a really nice evening, we went to dinner and then went to the mall. She got to go on the train and rode a couple of different rides. She had a lot of fun. We then came home and watched Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Such memories.

Wednesday, 2 December

Olivia and I were on the news this evening. We waited outside in the rain for about an hour to be interviewed... but honestly, we would do anything for the Judson Center. Great facility that does wonderful work.... Plus, they are the reason we have a beautiful healthy daughter.

Monday, 30 November

Can't believe it's the last day of November. Really long day, busy busy..... In the evening, did some grocery shopping, Kurt was feeling very well - so I took Olivia out for a bit. We had fun - went to the Dollar Store... she loves that place and sad thing, they know us by name there. We then went to Kmart and Olivia got a ride in the Firetruck. She wanted to go on it over and over again. Too cute. Did her hair up in braids, she is so patient.

Sunday, 29 November

Got up, did my workout - felt so much better. Got Olivia up and showered, dressed. We then went up to Pronto for breakfast. Olivia got her pancakes and ate most of it (it took about an hour because she was eating and coloring between each bite). After breakfast, we ran a few errands before heading home and picking up Kurt. Once we got Kurt, we went to Target and the Mall. Didn't really buy anything, just did some browsing and hung out with Dan for a minute. Got a coffee (bad idea, caffeine at 5:00 pm is not good for Eric). After that, we headed home and then shortly after that, Mike and Dan came over. We all headed to Xochimoccos (I butchered the name, but it's a great restaurant in Mexican town). Dinner was so good. I had bean and cheese burritos. Kurt ate something that didn't agree with him to much.. it gave him horrible heart burn. After dinner, came home and ate dessert (we picked up something at the Mexican pastry shop). It was a cake that was dipped in milk. Can't remember the name but very tasty. A fantastic weekend.

Saturday, 28 November

Another fun day. Got up and showered, got Olivia up and gave her a bath and dressed. Made her some breakfast and then we waited for a bit for Kurt to get up and ready. We all then headed back to over to Brenda and Jim's house. It was so nice seeing everyone again. We got there, (I brought more of my famous Boneless Buffalo Chicken Dip). We hung out with everyone for a bit before heading to a couple of stores. Got a little shopping in, not much .... I know, so not like me. We then came back to the house, played some cards, watched a movie, hung out with everyone before having to the leave. (Kurt had to work in the evening again). Olivia was getting alittle cranky....so we got home and gave her a nap. Kurt went to work and I did some studying. Aunt Chelsea and Aunt Chelsea picked up Olivia and took her out for the evening. Olivia kept saying "I have 2 Chelseas". So cute. I finished my take home exam. Olivia got home around 11:00 pm, put her to bed then I went to bed myself. Super fun day.

Friday, 27 November

Got up early, showered and dressed. We then packed up the car and headed over to visit the family. It was so nice seeing everyone. We had a great time. Got to see Mom and Dad, all the kids, the whole family was there. It was a really nice day. We played cards, ate food, exchanged the white elephant gifts, hung out with everyone. Olivia was having so much fun with her cousins, she had a blast - but around 6:00 pm, she was getting cranky and tired. We had to leave around then so Kurt could get home in time to get ready for work. After we got home, Olivia slept for about an hour while I cleaned up a bit. Kurt went to work, while Olivia and I had a fun evening playing with her train and puzzles.

Thursday, 26 November

HAPPY THANKSGIVING. What a perfect day. Got up early, started cleaning downstairs, moving furniture around, scrubbing down stuff. I then started on the cooking. Busy but I enjoy it. Our menu - Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Baked Sweet Yams, Stuffing, Gravy, Green Bean Almondine, Salad, Cucumber Salad, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Guacamole Dip, Cookies, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Tarts, Apple Tarts. Mom, Dad, Shon, Tracy, Hudson, Ivy, Mark and Jocelyn all came over. It was a really nice day. We had appetizers, watched the game, had dinner and dessert then played cards and some Wii. It was such a nice day. After everyone left, Olivia fell asleep immediately so we just relaxed for a bit. We got her up around 7:00 pm, when didn't want her to sleep too long or she would never go to bed. So we then went to the store for a few things, came home and ate a turkey sandwich (best part of leftovers). It was a great holiday.

Wednesday, 25 November

Kurt dropped Olivia off at my parent's house - so it was an evening out with friends. I met up with Bonnie at Pronto! for Dinner. We had a good dinner, catching up - good times. We then headed over to the bar side afterwards. Mark, John, Joel, Kerrin all came out. Got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in forever. Saw CJ, Brett & Carl, Matt Rich.... Lots of people were out. Bonnie - who has lost about 100 pounds, drank a little bit too much (plus being so much smaller now) so I ended up taking her home. It was a fun night..... well, except for Bonnie getting sick. After getting home, watched a little TV before falling asleep.

Tuesday, 24 November

Taking some pictures of Olivia for the holidays. Took about 100 pictures - we got some really cute ones. Getting ready for Thanksgiving - started making up some of the dips and appetizers. Baked about 4 dozen cookies. Olivia actually helped me with the cookies - she was a very good assistant. Started doing the deep cleaning, so much to do.... Working on my take home exam for school also, studdied for a couple of hours. Just a really nice day.

Monday, 23 November

Such a long day....got up early to study. Studied for a couple hours, got showered and dressed. Had a meeting with Steppin Out, interviewed to be on the board of directors. The meeting went well. Ran into Marlene. After that, made dinner - not bad... We took Olivia for a walk - yes, I know, I'm really boring. Ugh. Picture is from Friday, had dinner with Mary, Billy, Joel and Katie. She is so cute. Just a little doll.

Sunday, 22 November

Got up to the dogs waking me...ugh, I was tired. Fed them, then immediately after - Olivia woke up. Got her up and dressed and then got showered. We went to the dollar store and then met up with Aunt Mar for breakfast. Breakfast was awesome - Chili Omlette. Delicious. Fun times with Marlene. After that, came home and we played with puzzles, and made a pillow fort. After Kurt got up we went to Target and got a few things. We made it a very low key day, I made a big dinner, studied for a while, we watched the movie "Space Chimp". We ran a few more errands and then watched "The Simpsons".

Saturday, 21 November

We had a great morning. Olivia and I went up to Royal Oak for their Holiday parade. We ran into Jen, Geo and Jakey. So good seeing them. We also saw Chelsea, Chelsea, Marlene and Bill there. The parade was a lot of fun - Olivia enjoyed seeing Santa. After the parade, we came home, got Kurt and then headed up to Target. Had to get a few things then we got some lunch. We are just relaxing now and watching the movie "Caveman". Cute movie from 1981. Gave Olivia a bath and then spent some time cleaning up the house and doing laundry. After that, got Olivia fed and in pajamas. Kurt headed out to work and then I met up with Mike and Dan for a bit. We went to Pronto, didn't stay out long. Fun night.

Friday, 20 November

Woke up really tired today.... had a cup of coffee and sat in the chair. I think I'm getting a cold or something, my glands are swollen and it hurts to swallow. Ugh, hate getting sick. Got Olivia up and ready, she was a little cranky - she didn't go to sleep until almost 11... Hopefully she is good at daycare. We have big plans this evening, meeting Joel, Mary, Billy & Katie for dinner. Can't wait. Going to Anitas... it's so good, have to get some take out for Kurt. After that, Olivia and I are going to hang out and have a super fun night.. then I'm going to bed early.

Thursday, 19 November

Busy busy day. Another long one. Had a really nice time at dinner with Chris Webb. Such a great guy, haven't seen him in forever. Great catching up. We talked for over 2 hours. It was a lot of fun. I feel bad that I haven't been able to spend as much time as normal with Olivia.. This weekend it's going to be all about her, the park, the gym, McDonalds... When I got home from dinner, Olivia was still up and playing with Mariah. I didn't get home till almost 10 pm, I can't believe she was still awake. She will be tired tomorrow.

Wednesday, 18 November

It's been such a long time since I've posted.... Going to get back into the swing of things and post more often. Been really busy, with Olivia, School, helping out at the Commissary, getting stuff ready for the holiday. Just very busy and not a lot of free time anymore. School is going great, learning a lot and I'm really enjoying being back into that type of environment again. I have a meeting on Monday to be on the board of directors for Steppin Out (Non-profit group). Olivia is getting so big and learning so much every day. Kurt put up the decorations for our living room and the outside yesterday, Olivia told Kurt - "This is really beautiful". She is 2... Our little genius. Tuesday, 17 November

Had a really good day... extremely busy but good. Got up early and worked out, got Olivia up and cleaned up/dressed. Busy day working. After that, got home around 6:00 pm, basically just brushed my teeth again then met up with Michael for dinner. It was Olivia, Michael and I at Old Country Oven. Love that place. Got the Broiled Halibut. Delicious. Olivia got a hot dog, but bascially all she ate was my green beans and my soup. She liked that a lot - oh and the Strawberry ice cream. After dinner, came home and got Olivia changed into pajamas. We played with her cars and dora doll, then watched a little tv before putting her to bed. It was a really nice evening. Kurt went out with some co-workers to Rosie O'Grady's. Oh - Kurt had decorated the upstairs and outside for Christmas... it looks so beautiful. He did a fantastic job.

Monday, 16 November

Got up, went to the Gym - feel great. Got a really good night sleep. Starting to get a sore throat but not bad. Hopefully the medicine I'm taking will take care of it before it gets bad. Had to stop at the grocery store - out of creamer...yikes, no creamer in the morning is a terrible thing. Came home and made dinner. Made a Lime marinade Turkey breast, mashed potatoes, steamed brocolli and cauliflower and for dessert - apple tartlets. Everything was really good. After dinner, cleaned up a bit then wrapped a few things for Christmas. Yes, I'm done Christmas shopping, got my cards done, everything is wrapped now and under the tree. House is decorated and I'm all set now. I can enjoy the holidays... Woo Hoo. Gave Olivia a bath after dinner, she played with her Dora bath toys (Thanks Aunt Tracy) - got her to bed then chilled out for a bit.

Rock On! Olivia as a punk rocker. Just playing with her different costumes. She loves it. Really good day, busy but good. Got a lot accomplished so feeling really good. I feel gross from all the sugar I've been eating lately... I really need to work on that. Surrounded by sweets all day long is not a good thing. In the evening, Olivia and I hung out - watched Dora, went to the gym, did some studying.
