Sunday, 21 September

Got up pretty early - we had to be at Pronto for the AIDS Walk Detroit pre-ceremony. We were going to help out with the Quilt opening ceremony. We got to Pronto and had some coffee, fruit and a muffin while we waited for everyone else to arrive. Brian and Tony were there, Jim and James, Marlene - we all headed over to the Farmes Market where the AIDS Walk was to take place at. When we got there, they were just getting ready to start the Quilt Ceremony. It was very touching, I'm really glad we were there for that. After that, we got some pumpkins at the store then came home. I put the pumpkins out, they look really cute. We then went to Michaels, Target and a Sporting Goods store. Had to get a few things, we then headed home. My parents arrived a few minutes after we got there. We hung out for a bit then we drove Kurt to work and then Mom, Dad, Olivia and I headed to the Reniassance Festival in Holly, MI. It took a little longer than expected to get there (construction) and the line to get in was crazy. We got there and had a really nice time. Olivia was really enjoying seeing all the people dressed up. We immediately got lunch once we got in, we were all starving. We then walked around for several hours. It was just real nice spending time with the folks. Aroudn 6:30 or so, we headed home. Made really good timing with that. Got home around 7:00 pm, I gave Olivia her bath and got her in he pajamas. I fed her dinner and fed the animals too. After that, we played for a little bit before I rocked her to sleep. She was exhausted... I was tired too. I watched a little bit of the Emmy Awards before falling asleep. Wonderful Weekend.
