Today was not a good day... Got up like normal, got ready for work - then got Olivia up. Immediately upon waking up she started coughing really hard. To the point that she actaully threw up, she also had a nose bleed from coughing so hard. So that was enough, got her and we headed to emergency. We got to Beaumont and they almost immediately took her in. They started her on a breathing treatment then we headed over to get an xray of her chest. After that, they gave her some medication. After being there about 5 hours, they told us that she had pneumonia in her right lung. So they have her on steroids and antibiotics. After getting home, she seemed to be doing a lot better. I was told that the breathing treatment would make her a little hyper - she was definitely that. She was playing but just breathing a little heavier. Around 6:30 she crashed - and pretty much slept the rest of the night. She got up about every 1 1/2 hours for a few minutes then fell back to sleep. So basically I got no sleep, just glad she is feeling better. We have an appointment on Friday for a check up - hoping that she will be a l0t better by then.
