So today, Olivia had another allergy test. They did external (non food) allergy testing - they only tested the most common things such as Grass, Mold, Dust, Trees, Dogs, Cats... and it came back positive for all of them. They are going to do a more extensive test in a month or so but they want to see how she responds to Allegra. We have two dogs and two cats that we all love... So the first thing we did was take everything out of her room, clean everything - from top to bottom. Everything was rewashed (cats use to like to hang out in that room), so cleaned everything, vacuumed the rugs several times. They said we can just bathe the dogs with the allergy shampoo and that will take care of them - but the cats are another story. I'm heading to Petco and they have a lotion you can put on the cats daily to help with the dander.... I really hope that works.. if not, we will have to find new homes for Finnegan and Henry. I really hope that is not the case. So yesterday besides that, was a good day - work was good, gym was good, got a lot accomplished. I finished reading "The Great Gatsby"... ran some errands after work - then Olivia and I had a really nice evening. I learned that she has a very long grasp - when I was feeding her, I got her some milk and in a split second she grabbed her food dish and tried feeding herself. The food was too hot and she burnt her mouth. She was so upset.. poor thing. It took a while before she would take any more food. She was a little afraid after that. I gave her a bath and then got her in pajamas. We played for a while then she was out cold. The allegra makes her drowsy. After that, just cleaned up and then watched a little tv before falling asleep.
