Today was a really nice day. It was a perfect family day. We got to spend the whole day together which was fun. Got up and fed the animals, ugh, early. Got Olivia up, fed her and got her dressed. We then went into town for a bit, got her some breakfast and walked around down town Royal Oak. Came home and Kurt was up by then. We then went to the mall, had to pick up a few things - we then had a really nice lunch with Dawn to celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday Dawn (it's tomorrow, same as Olivia). It was great seeing her, we got to see her new car too. It's really nice. After lunch, we came home and ended up doing some stuff around the house. Later in the evening, we grilled stuff for dinner. At 7:30, Mike and Dan came over and we all went to John's house for his annual Fireworks party. It was such a fun evening, everyone fell in love with Olivia. I thought for sure she would just fall asleep but she was full of energy and had so much fun. Met some really nice people. Such a great night. The fireworks were fantastic and Olivia had a blast. She really enjoyed it. We left a little after 11:00 pm, Olivia was still up but fell asleep pretty quick once in the car. It was a great day. Got home, got Olivia to bed and pretty much fell asleep. I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow but it's well worth it. Thanks John for a fantastic evening.
